Sheldon Pitama, ex Warriors junior captain, played Māori Allstars in '23 & is one of the most experienced reserve graders going around

Nah i get it. Id rather the W in anything our team takes part in as well, and no athlete goes into anything wanting to lose. I mean would u rather they had played our number 1 line up for the 80 that wouldve ensured the win? I mean really what would that have proved other than risking injury and not trying out different combinations (which will be needed during to the season) or fine tuning plays?
I think the team and coaching staff wouldve got everything they wanted out of last nights game. (yeah the W wouldve just been the icing on the cake)
