That is not how MRI scans work. Swelling provides contrast to the injury. It helps.

And that has nothing to do with Tanah waiting for an Op.

And the Health care system in simple terms works like this: If the public service is overloaded (underfunding) the urgent cases in public get sent to Private for urgent scans, meaning people like Tanah and Roger have a delay.

Do they fly back to Nz to get an MRI or do they get in MRI in Aus ?
Does flying with an acl injury cause more damage?
From experience here in Aus you can at times get an MRI done quite quickly

As devastating as an RTS season ending injury could be, I don’t think it has a huge impact on our season.

He’s only had 2 games at centre and we won plenty of games with other centres so Pompey replaces him easily. AFK has more than replaced him as a winger.

Disappointing for him personally but as a squad there’s adequate cover.

It's the work rate and meters he makes that i think we will miss. Also looked to beat the first player and get in the gap between defenders for a quick play the ball.

Yep. Also another layer of X-factor that we will miss, although it has declined in his older age, it is still there.

I don’t think Rog’s injury will affect a potential premiership run too deeply due to our depth at centre, but we will definitely miss the x-factor he provides. I wonder if we can get Grant Anderson over here early?

Great that we have depth but Pompey will provide about 60 less metres per game than RTS provides. Chuck that on top of the loss of Boyd's long kicking game and we ain't going to have the territorial advantage that we often have had
