General Warriors Injury Thread 2026

What kind of hoopla is this?

Metcalf - sprig got caught in the turf, and he was tackled at that time. Unlucky really.

Boyd - watch the slowmo replay, a huge chunk of turf disintegrates under his foot. That doesn't happen on fields that aren't goat tracks.

Suncorp is a sandy shit hole of a surface at the best of times, it really is a sub standard playing surface.

Not sure there is anything to read into this?

Where did you source your information on the Panthers?
Riley Price (2024) & Taylan May (2023) both done their ACLs. While the Panthers have shown an improvement in injury prevention, one ACL in 5 years is wrong

So 2 in 5 years vs 13 in 5? 🤣

The cruel irony is if Metcalf didnt have a sook Tannah wouldn't have done his ACL.
Butterfly effect. This season feels like something deep is playing out.
Bad juju? It's poetic, sure, and the only way for this to play out now is with Metcalf lifting the provan-summons after Jett has been HIA'd by his brother in the the last 10 minutes of the GF... it has been foretold

Much improved but I'm just wondering if the 13 is accurate if the one isn't?
A quick search does show that Peter Wallace & Sam McKendry contributed to 5 ACLs between them for the Panthers in that '14-'18 period and a reoccurrence should be considered slightly differently
