Yeah i wondered that but surely a Mam and Munster halves pairing is pretty light on kicking? Deffo an area Boyd has excelled in this year, getting us arpund the field and putting us in spots to attack and win the game.

Id rather have Boyd doing that and be less spectacular, and leave the x factor and big moments to the other players like Walsh, Munster, Hammer and co.

Munster would be very fortunate to play origin he’s woefully out of form and looks checked out he should rule himself out

I’d say they would go with DCE for game one but if we dominate against the Broncos next week it’ll be a legit conversation for Boyd to be included this time last year people were tossing Metcalf as a smokey

Mods!!! can we have a new thread for all the speculators on this thread to expose their well informed opinions on the Metcalf saga?
