I think it indicates that he was on far less at the Broncos for 2026 and 2027, and Broncos revised offer to stay was also much less than what he signed on at the Warriors for. I think its fair to say we are currently overpaying for him, and once he is a Warrior, just hope he is able to play to the value we have placed on him for 3 years.

Not fair at all. Currently we aren't even paying him 🤣

Haha no, hes a tricky one to place - $400k - reasonable money but not terrible either. If Rocco was on 500k, then this is a great result.
He surely wouldn't have been on less than 300k at the Broncos, so even if he's worth more between 300-350k I dont think you can be too dissappinted at what we paid. Given our injury prone backline the last few years how valuable would this bloke have been, I think that ability to line up anywhere in the back line up if theres an injury will be invaluable nek year

Couple of Storm blokes at work described him as "versitile", can play both sides, filled in for Coates or Meaney when needed, solid without being spectactular, pretty much how we describe Pompey.

I'm not against the signing, he'll get my full support and I love the way the club is turning the "compassionate release" into a bargaining chip, I'd just prefer it was done before the player actually signs with another club.

Hopefully they learn from this deal, it’s the first case and they will probably produce better swaps in the future

Andersons strength is his versatility. From his highlights it looks like he can play both sides and either centre and wing. He’ll be able to slot in and keep players honest in a bunch of positions.

I’m not convinced he’s going to be a great player but 400k these days isn’t going to break the bank and when you’ve got the likes of AKP, Ali, Berry and Mellars who have risk for various reasons it’s good to have a high floor low ceiling player in the mix.

Dude I would be happy to leave Brisbane for $400,000 a year and come home, I can't say I would make first grade but once the beer belly is gone I might make the reserves as a water boy

Pompey might not be a star center.

I know his opponents respect him.

I reckon he holds his spot.

I wrapped Anderson last year in a post.
He has some classy touches about him.
Plays wing/center/half.
Probably be a classy lock as well.

Be shocked if Pompey makes way though.

Anderson hasn't played any reserve grade as a half. 1 NRL start at #7, in a Rd 26 Storm side resting Hughes,, Grant & others ahead of the playoffs. An injury to Papi after 14 mins meant a reshuffle so he's a half in the same sense as Erin Clark is.
His versatility will be a fantastic addition but surely Webster got his signature on the basis of a consistent Centre spot
