The line about the Broncos making a counter offer is interesting. He only just signed there last year so could have got an upgrade. Also interesting as it looks like the Warriors were sticking to their guns about wanting someone in return for releasing Barnett. So, it is a bit weird the Broncos making an offer. Could just be the reporter putting 2 and 2 together and getting 7.

It is good having the speculation about Barnett over. Now he can concentrate on his final year here.

Anderson seems like a good get. Mcguire went after him early last year to get him to the Broncos. Hopefully, he recovers from his injury and gets some football in to finish the year.

We are losing some experience at the end of this year. The flip side of that is it frees up cap space.
I call bullshit on the counteroffer. Media spin.

We are not able to approach him, so the Broncos have obviously offered him to us in the Barnett deal. So they are either okay with him going or not. If they are not then he is already under contract, no need for a "counter offer."

Haha aw im a fan of CNK and what hes done for the team, but if hes the difference between us getting KP or not - who could be the missing piece to the puzzle - id be pulling the trigger on that ASAP.

So let me get this straight.

We have an injury prone halfback, an injury prone center, and now we want to sign an injury prone fullback?

Are we trying to collect them all, or something?

Welcome to adjust my couch potato guess

Boyd - 100, extend +500=600?
Minimum is $140k & there's no way he's even close to that low. He signed a 2 year deal at the Titans at the end of 2023, where he had 21 straight starts as their #7 that season & 29 consecutive starts dating back the year prior. Granted we offered him job security for 2026 as well, but he signed that last Titans contract as their starting Halfback. At a guess, that'd be 400k a season so he wouldn't have left any money on the table, plus the hassle to relocate countries, so I reckon we signed him for at least 220k a season. No doubt a sizeable, and well deserved, salary jump is incoming but the suggestion, that's been heard in here numerous times, that he came here on minimum doesn't add up especially when we carry relative newbies like EIT & Healey in our 30 along with a genuine rookie in Fatialofa.

Guys the table is a wild couch potato draft estimate, fix as appropriate 😂👍
