He also stuck with us that entire season during the pandemic? I think he was injured our last game but rather than go home, he stayed with the tea What do you have an issue with?

He's one of New Zealand's greatest ever league players, still in great form, wing is his spot now, he would be fine for one more year.
He made a business decision. So should we. Thats all. No issue. And no arguments from my side about him being a legend of the sport and our club.

Man’s got to earn a living even when he’s at home
Of course. Thats why he left us. Multiple reasons. Including a contract with NZ Rugby Union. Like I said, I am not moaning about it. Just saying he made a business decision for him and his family. Warriors need to look after the clubs interests first also.

The article I posted showed his baby was born in October 2019 & the Warriors relocated in May 2020. It was a shit situation, & I ain't going to judge his decision, but the math of him missing the first year of his sons life is an exaggeration
For sure and I never thought about that.....more so just being away from his family.....but that year if I'm not wrong....he gave up fullback for Walsh and moved position and when he was injured rather than go home he stayed with the team? So it makes perfect sense of course the Warriors welcome him back

2020 he missed last game due to injury & declined an early flight back to NZ.
He gave up the #1 in 2021 then him & Leeson exited in a hurry after Round 18 I believe.
He left on good terms & was missed hugely during his absence. None of that is up for debate

If they do they do. Not sure why your heart is so hurt? I haven't been dissing rts?
It's not hurt?

Thank you for the clarification.....but you would not want to re-sign him on a one year deal?

Makes sense his wouldn’t recognise him when he came home though.

Probably not. Due to his age. That's it. He is one hell of an athlete. Unfortunately, He won't get any faster next year. And I'd hate to seem used as just a battering ram.
But he's still really good? And one of the most professional athletes you see.. ..plus supremely talented.....those guys always last longer. Billy Slater being a great example as an outside back.
