Yeah the hyperbole is way over the top from the Australian media.
He wasn't an enforcer by end stretch.

Prospect with some good moments. But not our best prospect in the same position.
Yeah, i thought he was really good 2024 but after the cup run Im not as convinced.

Gotta remember he was 21 in 24 playing the 21 and under comp, and the average debut age in the nrl now is 21. So all the good players 18-21 are either nrl or at least nsw cup.

TSS looks like an escaped prison inmate who's surprised that nobody has caught him yet. Certainly plays like his life depends on it with some welcome aggression in D when he came off the bench for us. I think he is doing fine given where he is in his career. He needs to bulk up a bit but I'm sure that'll come over time. He is exactly the sort of player that fits into webby ball.

This has got to be the quietest off-season in many years. Usually there are a few depth signings or some punts at this point. I guess that this is a good thing with the club happy that what's coming through will do the job.

The exitement of looking at the new toys in the trial isn't really a thing this year, though I'm looking forward to seeing the South's winger.

We did our business early.

Definitely looking forward to the trials to see both wing signings in action.

Gannon will be interesting, I think big trial minutes but will start in NSW Cup.

Sio Kali is on a train and trial this year apparently.

Development contract wasn't extended.

Could impress during the offseason and earn back a development contract (few spots there) but seems unlikely given he still hasn't come back from his last injury by the looks of it.

Seems like a great buy low opportunity for another club. If I'm the Bears im signing him to a top 30 deal for their inaugural season right this second.

So confirmed development contracts so far are Jett Cleary, Luke Hanson and Caelys Putoko.

Wahs needs to jump in on this eels storm player swap, im sure the eels would take Marata back, lomax to storm, Howath our way, surely 😬
Trades don’t work like they do in the US

All players have to agree to it.

Howarth has to agree to it and part of the appeal for him would be linking back up with Ryles.

Think of it more along the lines of, we will agree to release player A if you agree to release player B.

As opposed to we will send you player A in exchange for player B
