I thought the same re - Kiwis selection. It's a hard one. Nas was probably stale and needs a change of scenery. If he was cheap enough, I'd like the idea. If Webby could get the best out of him. He's a dangerous beast when he is on. Still can't forgive the prick for the dog shot on Egan tho.

He’s always going to have extra attention on him, but no more than Niukore or Ford who tend to be ill disciplined at times and they’re who I would put him in to replace with his impact he offers that they don’t. Storm chipping in and we pay him $650k to play off the bench with Vaimauga and I’d be keen

He'll play where hes damn well told to play
I mean, He can find his feet and earn his way to 1st. Unless he has a mean off season.

I know storm don't chip in for shit. But if they want him gone they'll have to chip in & pay some of his contract.

He's a huge risk. I'd love for Nas to find a new lease of life in his footy career. I don't believe he is done yet. And many have given up on him.

I doubt he'll be doing pre-season with the main group. Although Bishop made a few appearances last summer so who knows.

I like the way they do that eh, giving the young ones a taste of what is required to succeed at the highest level - that is excellent club and people management

Even the mighty Storm will be realistic about having to wear some of NAS's contract. The question would be how much of it they'd wear.

He'd be a dumb signing on even moderate money to me. Even if the modern game hasn't passed him by, I just can't imagine him going all in for the Warriors.

We made the right call on NAS. Storm never lose the players they want to keep. So if they are willing to let someone go, more often than not it's a negative signal on that player. Kalani going (sorry for the pun) is unfortunate but not unexpected. We have enough short stocky forwards with good footwork and an offload. Wish him luck on whatever his future holds. Has been a great servant for the club.

Forwards are not our issue. We are a quality center and winger short of being a contender. AKP could be that winger. Wouldn't mind having a crack at bringing Jesse Arthurs back given that he is behind the pecking order at Brisbane.
