I don't think Dallin will have a problem even finding a new NRL club with decent money next season, top 5 try scorer this season, playing really well and is a brand himself. At least Drags and Dogs will love to have him

Ali's played 24 games total in his career. 9 of those have come this year. So its probably reasonable to assume most players who start a year on 13 total games is still a fair way off their ceiling.

Im sure weve all seen players that have looked average or poor in their first year or two before exploding on to the scene. Our teams actually littered with them...

Given how many concerns there were about Ali's defence at the beginning of the year ive been pretty impressed with his overall defence. Hes had a few poor reads of course, but were 2nd in defence this year...theres been many, many worse than him.

I think well know a little bit more about how hes going to progress by the end of next year, from here theres 36 or so regular season games and youd hope we play at least 4 final games in the nek 2 years...ill be interested to see what everyones thoughts are on a 24 year old Ali with 50+ games experience and with another solid pre season

Are we happy for him to leave nek year, or one more year?

One injury to Wahbrick, AKP, Anderson and Ali and its either CNK, Pompey, or a rookie....

Actually carrying CNK and Pomps too probably means we have to let him go. Having those 3 likely taking up over a mill in cap as back up players probably isnt realistic. Maybe blood one of our rookies like Lemana or Linane whilst alternating one of Pomps or CNK if its a long term injury is probably the way to go
