Haven't proven anything.....no one knows what is around the corner but if CHT and Boyd stay fit and in form when Metcalf couldn't, I don't see how that's anyone's problem but his?

He certainly needs a game or 2 in NSW Cup first to build some match fitness and form?

This ain't Alfie Langer we talking about here. Yes he got a contract upgrade.....still needs to be the best option and right now he is not the best option at 7 and most certainly not 6.

But if Boyd and CHT continue to go well and we continue to win....well.....tough luck.

There in no path back to first grade for Luke. Which is exactly why he's unhappy. And no, your 7 isn't like any other player in the line up. Which is why there is so much song and dance surrounding this

There would be, but it would be the same way Tanah got there, which would effectively make him a backup.

Feels like this is the result of 3.5 years living in Auckland away from family, half the time rehabbing and injured, and now reversing the role with your backup who’s arguably playing better than you somehow, and remembering you were promised marquee status a frw months ago.

Makes sense. He was the best teenage talent Gus has ever seen and they desperately need another 6 who wants to be a 7.
