As others have mentioned, the only reason I can understand why we didn’t go after Timoko is from a cap perspective. He would surely command $550-600k. Pretty confusing though as Barnett, RTS, Niukore and even TMM would make up at-least 2 million in cap space.

Timoko is popular on our message board but not the raiders message board due to porous defence last year. He is a good one to miss in my humble opinion. Grant Anderson ? Injured until round 16?? I can see why the Broncos are dead keen on this... but for the Warriors we should ask for someone who can play now as Rocco is back round 12 or 13 anyway.

For all we know, the club could be negotiating with Timoko in the background and denying any talks to the media. We all know how good the club is at keeping our recruitment on the down low.

I havent seen too much of both Timoko and Anderson. Using NRL.com statistically Andersons tackle efficiency is worse than Timoko.

Is it a case like capewell last year (ie missed tackles but was leading pressure and putting on an initial hit)?

I raised that issue previously BlackToko and CCes responded to me and told me Anderson has played a fair bit at fullback which naturally drags anyones TE ratio down compared to playing at centre.
