It's funny but I heard the opposite about Patrick from one of his relatives.

He was one I was following because of the family connection. I was told Patrick has been working his guts out to keep the NRL dream alive.

I doubt very much that Ivan would be even remotely interested in someone else's unproven slacker.

It gives an idea on how much a back up half costs and how our salary cap lies @Wrighty I’m with @Makasene here, if you are backup half with decent experience you are getting paid well over min salary.

With your inside knowledge of the situation, that’s obviously off the mark. Really hope he does well, Zyon Maiu’u was a shock to many when he departed, but as times gone on it perhaps was the correct choice? They certainly seem keen overall on him

I think going after Crosby is really astute.

I think we're holding onto most players who want to stay and we want to keep. Fatialofa was a close call where obviously we wanted him but he signed at Panthers initially then during the cool off period we upped the ante to keep him. Wonder what the dialogue is between players and clubs, would have to think there's a bit of agents trying to get better deals too

Also Ivan will be keeping tabs on the club a bit due to his history with us you would imagine. He seems to want us to do well and with JFH and Jett coming over who he has relationships with he'll be keeping closer tabs on the club. OMG IS JFH THE DOUBLE AGENT? Nah jokes but I think the clubs in a great spot and our development pipeline is starting to chug some talent through.
