You will see a lot of sleuth manoeuvring now.

There are suggestions Perth will be officially announced this weekend at Magic Round. If not, very soon.

From Nov 1, players will become eligible to sign with them.

Any marquee player we want to sign for 2027 will also (presumably) be courted by Perth.

Manu is a good move (if true) because he is 2026 (or sooner).

Cobbo is an interesting one off contract at the end of the year, so will have at least another year before the new franchise comes into the competition if he was on their list of potential targets list? Really like the potential of Cobbo at fullback, but as some say is a risk of becoming unhappy away from home. Manu seems like the best option to me and would really add another layer to what we’ve got happening and low risk with NZ being home

I think the one they will regret the most is the upgrade to Walsh. His contract puts enormous pressure on the rest of the cap IMO and while he can be an absolute gamebreaker, I cant help but feel that he hasn't improved with his errors and I wonder about the impact he has on the wider team
was just about to say the same. Walsh is glorious on his day but I think the broncs are a better team with cobbo at the back. Walsh's diamonds aren't worth the rocks for mine and I would take CNK over him any day. Madge needs to have a quite word: Go Superleague and beef up the highlight reel my son.

I was surprised when the broncos took walsh back because they already had cobbo and farnworth coming through as fullback options- thought they mightve been looking at him as a half which I still maintain he would be better suited to. Now they've lost farnworth and looks like cobbo is on the way out too.
Oh well too bad donkeys.

Walters was handling him well keeping him in Queensland cup, that’s how he ended up with us by packing a sad not playing first grade. Even when he was playing with us, I’ve always seen him as a 6. For a smaller body, all you need is heart to at least be a speed bump in the front line defending to give bigger bodies time to assist but at fullback his defence as a last line defender is non existent. He’s got all the skills of a good 6 with a great running game and cutout pass and a decent kicker

He could probably do a Sualii/Matt Rogers and go to union for huge money while the Wallabies are improving, he's built for a union fullback with his kicking game.

Wonder if we get Manu, would CNK work as a 14 while CHT covers 9.

he is the cherry on the top, not the main course. Broncos problem is that their pack like Cronullas have a soft underbelly that ultimately prevents them from winning the tight contests. Once Haas/Carrigan come off, their pack is pretty average imo.

Are the sharks like that this year? I had a terrible feeling when we got run down in the opener last year, felt they have a legit pack while our pack played like pussies and backs panic. They lost Hunt and we gave them AFB, wonder if there is a correlation there lol.

Really like how our pack is developing, like the Raiders we both had a game where they got blown off the park 1st half but hung in there for the second half.
