We have an edge of a guy with zero lateral mobility next to a guy with poor initial contact next to a guy who struggles with decision making.

Plus Boyd at 3 gives you slow defenders at the 2, 3, and 4 spots inside a winger not renowned for landing on ball at the best of times. Just not a good mix.

People calling for Gagai, at 34 years old, he'd certainly fit the Dad's Army back 5 we ran out on the weekend I guess?

Metcalf was getting traffic his way too but holding his own. The right is likely always going to be a target for teams with CHT as a strong defender on the other side and Pompey who’s fairly reliable

If Jett Cleary is confirmed in the Top 30, that decision would have been made before the 1st of this month when he'd only just made his second NSW Cup appearance which is wild. I wonder if it would have still happened if Metcalf hadn't done his ACL a couple days prior? Guess we'll never know

It is all a bit incestuous. Well the risk is there. Webster being Ivans mate etc. I did have concerns about that doing a favor for a mate bit of the equation and raising their cuckoo chick.

Especially since Cleary looked bog average to start with.

But his last outing changed my mind, not that I was pre judging the kid, just saying his games were not that great imo.

But hey if it all is above board then great, he has shown last weekend he has it all, the package.

Let's see him turn up to wollongong and play like that!

There is currently a realistic gap of 2-4 years for the exciting young guys in lower grades to be NRL ready. Pathways are showing promise, it’s just that the top side has a head start and they are not aligning yet, but they will.
This is why some positions need immediate attention.
SJ debuted at 20
If you got it
Coach Andrew Webster has to grow some big kahunas
And chuck someone in from reserves or?
Otherwise if we can’t sign centre/winger
Dads Army is coming back on TV baby✅✅
