Crosby is doing pre season with the top squad aswell. Might mean he is on a development contract.
I don't think he's on a train and trial though? so he's only there for the for the first bit of the preseason, same as the other guys there for the experience like Bishop Neal etc.

I saw him at that day 1 session that Ali and Taine were leading and haven't seen him at the ones since (he may have been there just haven't seen him) plus judging by his IG he's been doing a lot of solo training.

For all those creaming on Crosby, I think need to temper their expectations. He’s played 1 game off the bench for NSW cup, he’s 21 & has played league for what, two years? He’s likely 2-3 years away if he even makes it, and will need to be consistent in cup for this two years, starting & dominating. Looking at his physical attributes, he’s too small for an NRL prop, probably more a 2nd rower, similar to a Liam Martin, powerful, fast, mobile.

Just think people need a dose of reality. He’s an exciting prospect but needs to grind like he is for another two years, continue improving in cup & wait for an opportunity. No way does he deserve a top 30 contract, he’s not even a good cup player.

I don't agree, I do believe he is raw and undercooked. I don't believe his best spot is prop. He could develop into a prop longterm as he builds endurance. Yes, if that is what they are trying to do I am leaning a little more with you. He is an explosive power athlete with size and skill. I think they are doing him a disservice by attempting to develop him as a prop. I believe he needs to be on an edge and could be ready for game time next year (but realistically 2026). It would be like playing David Fifita at prop, pretty crazy if you ask me.

Anyway just me 2 cents. He is a fair way away at prop, but on the edge I think a good development team would only need another year to have him ready for first grade.

Long way to go in terms of development. How about potentially a 13?

All the talk of Crosby reminds me of all the things that were said about Ale. He looks to have a good head on his shoulders judging by how he handles himself. Wishing him all the best in his development but yeah seems a fair bit away which is understandable.

You do or you don’t agree? Haha

I agree with you if they are developing him at prop.
I don't agree if they play him where I think he should be played (on the edge) at second row. Got the smarts, and power to run a good line and speed.

I think as a prop he's down the pecking order. I think as a second rower he is down the pecking order but could rapidly rise and come into contention.
In my mind it's crazy to develop him at prop. later in his career let him transition when he slows down, but for now train and develop him so we can cash in on that power.

Tobias has speed - can run 100metres in 11.6 seconds.
Has power - probably would have near the best bench press kgs at the warriors
He has agility and can side step opponents to score length of the field tries
He was an unknown coming to the Warriors trial day along with 1200 other hopefuls on open day. He was one of 20-25 who made it into the system. He turned heads in his open day trial by scoring three tries.
Havn't ever seen him ball play
In his NSW Cup game, even though he only played one match, he did two great hit ups and then it was unstructured after that and all the second rowers wanted to do one out hit ups and neither he of the other prop got the pill, with Toby then only really running decoy lines on each play for like I said other hunguses who were screaming for the ball.
Early last year they said he could only break tackles if guys went high on him. Since that criticism he has learned a lower arm bumper to brush off grass cutters. He is now a multt dimensional metre gainer.
There is no one who trains harder than him. And for that alone he should be given a shot at regular NSW cup play this year.

How do you know no one trains harder? Smarter? Demetric etc are looking in supreme shape.

Who do you take out of the NSW Cup forward pack to accommodate him?
Zyon Maiu’u, TSS, Ieremia-Toeava, Halasima, Demetric, Bunty?

He he to earn the right to get there which is a good thing

It is in no way hate for Crosby, it is respect for how well those young guys are playing in Cup. For an extremely young pack they propelled that side into the finals.

But if you want to go tell Demetric that he is bing moved on to accomodate Crosby, I hope you can also run the 100 in 11 seconds!

Haha nice response.

In all seriousness I understand they are shopping Bunty so he would get that spot.
