🤖 Thread Summary

The discussion revolves around the Warriors vs. Tigers game, with focus on player selection and the team's prospects. Initially, there was disappointment over Ed Kosi's selection, sydneywarrior92 #2 defended the decision due to limited alternatives, hoping Kosi's work through the middle would be beneficial despite defensive concerns. Multiple fans expressed their hopes for Kosi to perform well, Completion Rate #7 wishing him the best and MrFrankWhite #14 defending Kosi from excessive criticism.

Concerns were raised by multiple users regarding the team's ability to adjust after losing key players like Walker and RTS, with Tonbridgeaka Swanley^15 predicting a loss and others expressing similar worries. However, sydneywarrior92 #24 drew parallels to a previous successful game, maintaining optimism and predicting a Warriors victory. The discussion also touched on potential late shuffling of the deck, The Undertaker #10 wondering if TMM might start at fullback.

Later in the thread, after the game had begun, fans commented on the team's performance and individual players. It is funny how we often times do not put ourselves in the opposition fans shoes before kick off.

I expect that Tigers fans will see us as a good target, a respectable scalp, someone to aim up against.

At the same time they will rightly expect their mob to get this done and take the two points at home in a very winnable contest.

I mean seriously, if you were a Tigers fan, which of our Roster would have you sweating bricks today?

No one for mine, no disrespect to my own.

I personally think this will be a war of attrition if it is gonna go well for us. If it is about the wrestle I think we do well.

If it is an opportunist expansive game I think we will be chasing the Tigers rather than the other way around.
Just the three kids name Leiataua Vaimauga and Halasima. And what they might do to ignite the afterburners of the rest of the team.

In my best Tigers fan voice "That Layer tower. He's a handful. And geez that name's a mouthful too"

"Vay ma younga. Isn't that Hella seemer?"

"Who's that 17? He looks igzackly like the 16"

We have every reason to turn up with the right attitude, right plan, confidence that we can stay in a dour grinding fight and complete our sets at a high rate. If we are in it by the last fifteen minutes I back us to prevail.

I yield this issue to those opposed.

Fordy has played well for two weeks despite being of the butter finger clan. Therefore I shall accept the Edward Kosi appointment. Go well young bloke

Here is a small positive - if it s a wet game - warriors have the bigger bench. We have 4 forwards. They have 2 big forwards, a spare halfback and a utility forward in Jack Bird.

I'm officially getting amped for game time. Take a brolly and a raincoat and probably something waterproof to sit on if you're going to the game.
