Yeah I don’t like it but opposition fans need to realise they’d do exactly the same thing in the same scenario. In saying that Charnze was lucky not to have to go off for an HIA, he made a pretty important tackle not long after
You can see it coming, mandatory HIAs to deter cheats like Charnze.

Charnze has been doing it a lot....A LOT...

Have to say the halves worry me a little - there are mitigating factors though: weirdly I don't think we can underestimate the loss of the senior outside backs, while their role is not directly linked to attacking shape the confidence of having them there on the end of movements sets after set must contribute something to the inside vision or lack thereof... also in respect of this there was Walker leaving: I thought there was an interesting comment by AW pre-game when asked about covering his role, saying that the halves would have to step up in the middle portion of the game and it kinda happened exactly like that, with the egan - cht - metcalf try happening after half time - notably after they'd had a break and had time to re-group and probably re-focused on that strategy - shows the nerves are definitely still there for Metcalf in particular, he does need time there and support - showing enough at this point but you'd hope he'd start running things himself soon
spot on, agree Lukey looked jittery and double minded when he got the ball in hand at times, but bloody hell he must have ice in his veins kicking the conversions and the last penalty (heard it was really windy throughout the game), so he really stepped up when kicking the penalty. on another note, to keep my sanity I now have to watch our games with the sound muted - get really pissed off with blocker and his one eyed commentary - didn't have too much to say about mr wana punch him in the face luai's high shot on chance and no sin bin??? sheezze!

I'd argue that it's not quite that black and white. He's manipulating the rules that are pretty open for manipulation.

The NRL should HIA players that receive a head high tackle, if only to stamp this carry on out. This issue with this is that it happens a lot and people will cry the other way.

Was it Taruva who went off for a similar thing earlier in the game? Tigers fans have a point blowing up about the hypocrisy there

I could be wrong, so disregard if this is the case, but wasn't it the Tigers who brought him in for an HIA? A minor distinction, but a distinction none the less.

I don’t see the issue with the penalty. It was a shoulder to the head, it’s the tacklers responsibility to get low. If we make the argument that charnze fell into his shoulder then the defender can simply not make the tackle - this happens a lot with players falling and the penalty doesn’t get given. But the tigers player decided he wanted to be both high in the tackle and hit a falling player, it’s such a standard penalty.

yep, it was the Tigers medo who took him out, I saw him tapping his head after he was done doing a test with Taruva.

He copped a shoulder to the head, chill. Turuva on the other hand... Tigers even pulled him off for an HIA themselves to try and sell it. Weird AF.
How Luai escaped a sin bin is baffling - a forceful shoulder to the head should be a sin bin every day of the week. Damn annoying seeing him orchestrate some sexy moves after that and stand over Barney laughing when he spilled one.

Is it normal to have injuried (i.e injuried for weeks) players coming to away games like DWZ is? Especially for us vs other teams as a way games are international flights.
Awesome show of club culture to have it, get around the boys to support them even if you can't play. I don't think I've seen that before but I love it.
Might have been a free seat on the plane with Agar being suspended and he was offered to come along.

Difference being it was the Tigers doctor who pulled him off because his head hit the ground after he got snippered from a tap on his shoulder. Wasn't the independent doctor who called him off.

As for CNK, I love to win but he and DWZ are two of the worst in the game for grabbing the jaw from a slight graze. Last week he took a lie down to play for a penalty which wasn't rightfully called and then took two more hearty runs in the set. I can't stand the soccer vibes, shit irks me.
