He's a big part, but Fish, Clark, Barnett, Demtric, CNK, CHT, Ford they all love the physical stuff and throw themselves at everything from the 1st minute to the last. We have a great core to the team, we just need the icing on the cake with some silky point scorers.
Yeah shout out to All them you posted, and of course All the Rest. Massive!

Erin Clark really surprised me. Thought he'd be dud signing for us but he was immense.

Couple big misses in defence though through the middle. 2 weeks in a row we've let in easy tries in the middle

Can't believe there's criticisms about attack? 26 points is well above average and the egan>cht>metcalf play was great. Still developing this combo, I'm ok with it. It's possible that Egan needs to fill the game management role a little but I'm really fine with this spine.

Getting feelings I had about our 2023 season during the 2024 season: How seriously are we taking the Tigers? And if they have a Finals-Making '24 will it - as it did for the Warriors in '24 after a great '23 - turn to shit when they start being given some R E S P E C T?
Probably! That's what happens on the way up. I'm not suggesting they'll make the 8 but after the spoon years they're not the easybeats anymore, but they'll still have their ups and downs just like us.

Maybe we need a spoon or 2?

It looks like after this round, we are going to be leading the comp in total running meters, post contact meters once the stats from today's game are incorporated. Made essentially 2000m in this game again, like last week. That's more meters than what Manly made in that crazy game against the Raiders last week where they had 68% of possession over the whole game. So for all the talk about losing go-forward post -AFB, we seem to be doing just fine in that category.

Brilliant game to be at, nearly had 2 or 3 heart attacks, soaked to the bone, freezing on the train right now but geez what a win!
I was tossing up whether to go but the late game on a ‘school night’ and the prospect of a 45min grumpy ride home soaking wet kept me away. On one hand bummed I missed a classic but also with the track record I have at live games I probably did the team a favour staying away

Apparently ‘Fonua-Brake’ is a thing on TikTok at the minute.

Bit rough seeing as he’s obviously giving his all, but yeah.. we seem to be doing okay in the divorce,
We used to be a bit of a one man band when he was with us. But now everyone is chipping in- each of our games this year most of our forwards are making 100+ meters. I suspect it is JFH's influence in making our middle's hum together as a collective unit. AFB was more of a one man band.

Is it normal to have injuried (i.e injuried for weeks) players coming to away games like DWZ is? Especially for us vs other teams as a way games are international flights.
Awesome show of club culture to have it, get around the boys to support them even if you can't play. I don't think I've seen that before but I love it.
rts wasn't there, not sure the reasoning why or why not.

I wondered that too when he was wobbling his jaw like that afterwards, he's a bloody good actor if true, Oscar worthy performance. Then I remembered he's the nicest guy in the world except for Roger, and he would never cheat like that.
Not good seeing players stay down but seriously how did the ref miss it? Watch the replay- it was right in-front of him- penalty all day.

Also we won every stat bar ptb speed and 6 agains so bit rich tigers calling bias.
