Not sure Webster had any other realistic options except perhaps Healey on the bench but I hope those selected haven't already given up.
In boxing terms " Stay on your feet you can still win on points "
Ali beat Frazier because even though he couldn't take anymore and told his corner he was done.......

Frazier's corner threw in the towel even against his protests.

Stay in the fight Team Warriors.

Healey was coming off the bench for Jets in NSW cup for 40 mins a game last year. He's doubled his game time this year by coming to us playing 80 mins every week and has played in first grade as well which was highly unlikely for the Sharks, plus he's learning a lot from Egan. I don't get the HeAlEy WiLl LeAvE uS comments. Based on the interviews I've seen from him he's happy with the decision he made to come over.

100% agree.

And you would have to assume the coaches gave him a clear understanding of what his first season would be like.

This time next year we will have to extend him or he can sign elsewhere from Nov 1.

So there is no rush.

Really hope Healey makes his way to the 17. With TSS as 18th man unless Eddie is out.
Healey as x factor out of DH, can fill in at 13 if need be. And TMM only comes on last 20 if we need points. And Boyd off. Do or die, have to throw whatever we have.
I can't see that being the final 1-17 - the last time that ran out it was fucking woeful ... think we'll see TT in at least, perhaps him and Healey ... centre really gives me the yips, Charnze can't distribute so i kinda don't want him there either, tbh Leka was the best option

Picking Jackson Ford was the right call.

Hope with the rest we will see less errors from him.

Something that interests me is Penrith have already shown us how they will beat us. They bashed us early.

Really hoping to see JFH step up. Leota who was often considered the lesser of the two absolutely bitched him last game up. If we let that happen again, we definitely lose.

If we match them in the forwards, we will be in the fight.

Simply we have to get over who is in and rip in and tear this Penrith team to shreds with extreme prejudice.

Whoever we have is it. Let's gooo

There’s teams who will offer him a starting role and a pay upgrade. Dogs, Eels, Titans will be looking for a hooker. He could definitely leave if he gets offers. Only a couple weeks ago Webby played Bloody Lussick for 60 minutes before bringing Healey on

You would say they’ve got the spine, though Kenny out means Egan needs to dominate around the ruck and exploit Sommerton. They’re dominant in the halves so we need forwards to aim up and back 5 match them best way possible. Capewell there means centres need to contain theirs at least and back 3 need strong games I reckon. Bench has huge energy, but they’re young too and the experience will be as valuable as anything. They need to know there’s a massive step up coming and I hope they can cope

I liked how EIT at marker was very quick to cover or pressure the runners and kickers around the rucks, hope he plays good minutes. Marata can get 20min and sit down

Which makes me think the Leka/Marata 2nd row combo is bs…EIT not being used as second row and the reserve forwards are props

Actually pumped for this game now, despite the pretty average side named.
Couple things I’d like to see tho

-Healey a late inclusion on the bench at least.
-teams are use to us only plugging the fullback on the right side in good ball(where the only team that does this don’t no why) that way they can just stack their left side accordingly.
-don’t shelve the offload because of our error count, we were already low on offloads anyway. Just hope we don’t go super disciplined robot mode. We’re gonna need a high offload count to win this game

Healey was one of our best players last week so it makes no sense whatsoever why hes not on the bench. We need that x-factor off the bench. I really hope we dont lose him to another team cause if Im him I cant but feel frustrated to not make the bench after last weeks performance.

He's not incumbent and is in his first year. He might still get in the 17 by the 24 hour cut off time.

TMM just covers more positions in case of injury emergency

There is absolutely no way they play 80mins of defense with Capewell and DZW out wide.

There is no points in that team. They are not playing to win.
They are playing not to lose.
There are 14 to 28 maybe 32 points in that team. BUT......... How many can they repel?

Deadset we seem to be set for a champion flogging if our logical cohort are on the money

Exactly the team expected, Webby doesnt do surprises unless forced.

If they come out firing, limit the errors and the officials give us a fair run we might jag an historic victory but alot has to go right.

We need to put Penrith off their game and not let Chin dictate terms. There are not unbeatable but are firing at the right time.

For me the keys are Fish, Egan, RTS and Boyd. Fish and Egan probably have a bit of a point to prove, they are experienced and quality when on song. Boyd as he needs to step up a level as the guiding half, and RTS to be given some space to shine.

AND Leka, Demi and EIT to have the games of their young careers.

The rest we pretty much know what we are getting. Do your jobs and do them well.

Everyone has us written off, nothing to lose boys. And a chance to write something pretty special in the Warriors history book.

And if we lose, make it a mighty fight to remember.
