Just don't penalise the brown brothers bro!

He just has this vibe about him. Real male Karen type energy. Kind of bloke that wouldn’t throw your tennis ball back if it landed in his back yard.

He fucking have the panthers 3 innocuous crusher penalties anytime they held their necks and nothing when our boys got whacked in the face. in my opinion completely ignored the panthers in the ruck. They absolutely raped us and he did nothing.

That cunt is a massive cunt

Stacey, as brilliant as he was, had that trouble as well. I think Volkman's day will come.
Yeah he talked bout his early years and how he struggled to talk on field eh.
And he is the one working directly with Volkman.
The last time Stacey was interviewed about Volkman he said the only thing they are waiting for in his development is his defence, he said the coaches have told Volkman don't worry about attack (in his NRL appearances) and that the attack will come, but they only want him concentrating on defence.

Volkman has Reynolds about him, he could be a great half, but the Warriors are not going to use him until his defence develops.

I'm remarkably at ease with this game. I have great belief that if SJ plays and we can control the ball we will win

The Knights winning run is a bit of a red herring - they are just like us in that they have found ways to win rather than lose, this is not Parramatta 2009 coming our way.

I don't think the ref will be a factor, if anything it should favour us with the ferocious crowd we will bring.

Ultimately, on a shorter turn around with travel and following a very tough and extended game against Canberra, if Newcastle do manage to come to MSS and win then I'm almost certain they will have deserved it.

Can we please refrain from using swear words just for the sake of it, or using derogatory terms. It doesn't make you sound any tougher on the internet just because you can type it all out.

There's all types of people on this forum - ages, races and genders. Please be mindful.

Here’s my opinion. He’s not training with the team to give his best chance to play come Saturday. It has been roughly 1 week since the injury, and by webbys account he thought he’d play last week, but given the risk (and the extra life), it wasn’t worth it. This week he hasn’t been training with the team, this is normal. I’ve seen images of him with the team, but not training. That’s not to say he’s not included in team huddles and/or decision making. SJ knows what he’s doing, he’s done it for many years, played in far bigger games than this & has been in career best form - he could not train all week, come out on sat & kill it. He knows the plays, the shapes, the timings. All he needs to do is maximise recovery time, he’ll take part in captains run (assume Friday) & see how he tracks. He’s not required early week. This concession that he hasn’t trained doesn’t detract from his chances of being available. He’s more likely than last week, and he was close last week - that’s enough from me. Imo he’ll play. This is a do or die.

SJ has to play end of story… it’s a calf not an ACL. This game NOW is all or nothing sudden death. All chips are in… without him we are fucked. Walker and Martin can’t learn how to kick better in a week. Ludicrous to think that!

Forwards need to dominate from the opening minute. Knights were giving up huge yardage in that period the Raiders shot out to a 10 point lead, a team with multiple rep forwards absent.

No excuse for the forward pack this week, we win this game if they aim up, which will make SJ’s role of dictating attacking raids easier. The other pair are not at his level. Trust in Webby and forget the last 2 games.
