A confession that they let the Hamas attack happen?
That was either hubris (Israel government knew the attack was coming but they didn't think Hamas would go through with it) or Semi-W.A.I. (Israeli government knew and thought the anger following the attack would give them license to go after Hamas, collatarol damage be damned, hasn't quite worked out that way...)

And they don't even control the country, they hold territories, while other Rebel groups hold other enclaves, including Turkish baked Rebels.
