Great game, reminded me a lot of our 2023 game plan with bodies in motion and Boyd taking on the line.
Boyd looks better on the left so maybe he slots in there when the messiah returns?
As much as I like Leka I'm beginning to get "Hurrell" vibes, hope he tames it down.
Man people take CHT for granted, hard out. Two tries and a beautiful pass to set up Capewell, he was the equal of Boyd at least.

Having rewatched the game (of course), couldn't help but notice that Laban didn't get a lot of ball. Only 41 run meters for 46 minutes, whereas TSS did 120+ m for half that time on the field. Totally understandable-DCE was such a liability on defense so you have to keep going to that side. But Laban is a potential weapon we can exploit against opposition halves like a Kikau or an Eli Katoa if developed properly. That's another string to our attacking bow that we can develop above and beyond what we saw yesterday.

man legit gave his nut for the jersey and made every tackle after the day was so dark it sent him to semi retire if anyone deserves there spot after rd1 this year i have him ahead by a decent margin given met is locked in at half

tbf, isn't it the new policy to only have coaches at the press conferences?

Not sure cuz reynolds and grant, teddy were all at the pressor, probably more fun to have coach alone when we win for the skip to bond with players more and send out both when we lose so Webby’s not alone facing the media

From my eye test I thought TSS was fantastic flying around making hard tackles and making metres, we bundled their big guys over a few times, Laban and Leka were clunky or not set up right yet

It was hilarious when Boyd did that second half bomb I was like “Laban!” then some guy in a headgear swallowed it for a try 😂 Dally M Disguise of the year

For a long time I’ve been a CHT non-believer

He improved a lot last year. Kept me quiet. Looked a lot more comfortable. Scored some beautiful tries and was rock solid on D

This year could be his year where he finally figures it all out 🙏

AI can take his poetry job but definitely not the footy one 😂

How awesome he did a solo bomb and try against the same team last year and this time he did a one-two bomb to score another one 🙀😱

Boy, didn't he?

There was a point last night where he sprinted across field, after one of our tries, specifically to complain to the ref.

Bloody pathetic display.

I thought it was insane they had Teddy AND Walker complaining at the same time in the ref’s face multiple times in the game, wonder if they had some studies on human psychology or something

Maybe it just shows the pressure they are under with such a Yankees/Dodgers/Barcelona level line up

Oh dear.... just seen some comments from across the ditch asking why are the Warriors fans so happy.... of the teams that have won so far this weekend, we are equal last with the Knights for having conceded the most points.
Haters gana hate

I should say I haven't gone off Ali or any player making it under this coaching regime.

There is a mental disconnect there, Ali has had about two or three games where he was great on defence, which can at times be even more frustrating.

The reason I get concerned about tolerating half heartedness at the Warriors is that as we all know it spreads fast and the coach is the one that dies from it, not the players, the coach just gets added to the mountain of Former Warriors coaches skeletons.

Webster knows what he is doing. If I were Ali I would use some of that speed he has to kick chase like a less talented Center was doing to hold the jersey from him. But yeah nah so far he sprints to find the Cameras....seen that movie before too.
I was never on the train. For those of you on it, time to get off it asap. In my view, we don't have the luxury of waiting for Ali to find his feet: we need to nip this issue in the bud asap. In the next few weeks we will come up against teams with as much firepower as the chooks who will be able to exploit it in an even bigger way without any of the clunkiness that the chooks showed yesterday. In particular, we are facing Melbourne very soon in Melbourne. If we don't want to be embarrassed like we were last year, we need to address this issue asap. I don't care who comes in (Capewell, RTS moving in, etc) but something has to be done before that game. I'm just so sick of losing to those pricks.

Do players get a charge if they are penalized for dissent?
Used to get marched. I'd love to see it happen. Think twice is the most of seen in one instance. Penalty. Whinge. Marched 10. Whinged again. 10 more. And still a penalty
Not sure but I'm seeing a Balmain Tigers jersey in my hazy memory
