Yeah so did i. Just that control around the ruck he has helps settles things down i think.

Yeah 12 points ahead that game was still in the balance for me,,,,,,cause all they need to do is score once then its squeaky bum time
It was good to see Tanah's playing at the line show what it is worth when given a dominant platform off winning forwards, a lot of plaudits for JFH and the ball play etc, but for mine ole mate Ford brought the running game from hell....let alone his D efforts....seen Ford do that before but last night he went full crazy horse.

We haven't seen forwards in motion off the ball like that since the Bald Bros/Tohu peak era too.

Can see why Webby has always rated Ford, he's just a bit ADHD with the turn overs, but you can weaponize those traits if you take the brakes off and just say 'GO! fk it if you spill it...we will clean up'

Ali will not come right with coaching. He has had that all his life, he will get it right when he is put in Cup and told, this is it mate, start tackling and running the ball up or your being pulled from NSW cup and what you do from there probably should involve your manager.
I don’t reckon Webster will muck around for too long if it continues, certainly not until Berry returns because we have the option of CNK at right centre and Tuaupiki at fullback who are both effort players

Moving Ford to prop has been a master stroke really and was in synch with how the game has changed i think

he was always a bit too klutzy for an edge runner and i dont think running off halves or into gaps came naturally to him.

Simplified his role and let his main attribute - that engine shine. And what an engine......really think its underestimated just how much more options having a front rower who can play those minutes opens up for a team.

I remember an interview when Webby met with Fordy. Ford said he hadn't had anyone believe in him I think. Or it might have been hadn't had anyone understand him before. Webby's ability to connect to these blokes is ace.

It's RD1 mate. You're setting yourself up for a mental breakdown.

It’s already here! 🙌

I only watched segments of the game but from what I saw they had level of calmest about them. Like they knew what they were doing. Maybe experience is what the process is all about. Kearney was a misunderstood genius after all!!!

Time will tell.

Why was he alone yday? Usually the captain or another player joins him.
new rule or something as of this season, coaches only in the presser (bit boring imo, its fun getting insights from players, and when they switch it up and bring in a player that's celebrating a milestone game instead of the captain or something)
