A pt about Capewah: I have never seen him run such a good line like he did tonight. Maybe we are just used to him being such a defensive rock and an important leadership ingredient that we forget that he is also a great footy player. Hopefully we see more of that for the coming weeks.

You talking about Capewell? There's a reason he's played for such successful teams and been in the Qland team so much. He's quality. It's up to us to utilise him this season. He's top class.

MOM for chooks was Ali. We play anyone on his edge and this is 40-6. Replacing him is way more important than getting Metcalf or Barney back. Heck I'd even give Gannon a Crack there.

Jacko Ford=220m. Even the haters gotta admit he has become instrumental to our side.

Chooks can whine all they want about the penalty count but they were lucky they still had 12 let alone 13 remaining on the park. Their cynical tactics couldn't hide the fact that we clearly won the middle. Once that happened they just self exploded really. Their impatience and lack of finesse is why I don't see them challenging Penrith or Melbourne.

All Ali needs to do is drive in with his legs. Tackling is about cinfidence. Once be gets that he will be fine.

Really impressed with Ford as others have mentioned. I’ve often been critical of his mistakes but his performance was excellent and tidied up those mistakes. Watching him in the team song, he really seems happy here

Kicking away the ball looked like they weren’t sure how to break our defence when they looked to be mounting a comeback in the second half. CHT and RTS have got something cooking on that left edge

That CHT try was something else! Scrappy loose ball, tight footwork, slick hands, just a switched on move.

He has improved with us to a point where another year would be welcomed.

Ali's arm grabbing has to stop, tickling is not a strategy that is going to work in 1st grade. I hoped that had been his #1 focus for improvement over the offseason but it seems not.

He gets caught in that grey area where you’re hesitating to commit to the tackle, he’s holding off waiting for the right opportunity because once you commit you either make it or not.
So ye he holds and holds then just ends up getting burnt on the outside.

He’s quite a big body to be isolated out in the centres. Gets stuck in the mud

I put it down to maturity.

Some guys get a bit of leadership and thrive.

His error free game would not be out of place on the NSW bench.

He came to us as a hard running edge but a bit butterfingers.

Found his groove as a bench prop, now thriving as a starting prop.

Honestly, if I had to choose between Ford or the legend Michael Luck, probably going Ford at this stage

You look at that Roosters team on paper and it looks like a great team. The way they carried on in the game and then again in the press conference leads me to think that their victim mentality is going to rub them out of the top spots. Absolutely pathetic, you'd think there was a howler after howler in the officiating. They need to take a look in the mirror at their own horrible discipline, handling and the mental headspace they were in.

After they look in the mirror they need to take a look at the way the Warriors operated, which was superb. Well done Warriors; what a fantastically well coached and lead team.

They have fucked it with the DCE decision.

Savala is a top prospect with a massive boot, he and Walker are a great combo.

DCE ain't a 6. And he's a rapidly declining 7.

Part of me thinks it will get ugly, can see him being dropped if they don't click soon

I honestly love him, he makes yardage with his footwork and strength at prop, so good.

Him and Pompey have turned themselves into reliable first teamers which is the opposite of what they were 3 years ago, full credit to them both.
