Seeing as we have a thousand halves and Jack Thompson is better than Luke Hanson, we should offer Hanson to get Patty Moi-Moi back.
He could genuinely come back and start at right centre for us.

I’d still give Ali another shot to right his wrongs tho. But that wasn’t pretty
nope. This has been a recurring theme with him for the last 2 years now, both in cup and nrl. I'd wager that at least half of the DWZ jamming that we bash him for is because he doesn't trust Ali and for good reason. This is our weak link and if/when we eradicate it, we become a much more dangerous team over night.

Ali will be better for that towelling tonight, have to remember Smith has been a highly touted prospect for years but keeps getting injured.

Still think Ford needs a break, 70 mins straight is too long but outstanding statistically.

Fish, Boyd and Capes were immense. Lads looked fit as hell.

On to Canberra, Tapine won't be against only our young boys this time at Mt Smart.

You look at that Roosters team on paper and it looks like a great team. The way they carried on in the game and then again in the press conference leads me to think that their victim mentality is going to rub them out of the top spots. Absolutely pathetic, you'd think there was a howler after howler in the officiating. They need to take a look in the mirror at their own horrible discipline, handling and the mental headspace they were in.

After they look in the mirror they need to take a look at the way the Warriors operated, which was superb. Well done Warriors; what a fantastically well coached and lead team.

Just got back from the game. What an atmosphere it was. Warriors fans are the best. Some observations I made from the game.

Our ruck defence is still shit. Players falling off tackles, etc.
Leiataua and DWZ can't tackle and defend for shit.
Jackson Ford is a machine and made some good runs tonight.
CNK is not the player he once was. I don't think he should be fullback moving forward.
Boyd and CHT had good games.
Naufahu Whyte was a handful all night and most improved.
Tedesco is a tackle breaking freak.

We won is all that matters.

Is this NSW Cup chat? P.S. I’m 12 beers down, maybe 16 now. Thompson not played more than 20 mins of NSW Cup - cool your jets

We still need strike if we want to go far this year. Adding Gannon to this current backline isn’t gonna do anything.

We need to go to the market

Great win! Metcalf might have to return at FB if Boyd continues that kind of form.

Ali's arm grabbing has to stop, tickling is not a strategy that is going to work in 1st grade. I hoped that had been his #1 focus for improvement over the offseason but it seems not.

Loved the energy, the boys are obviously a tight group.

It seemed liked they looked at the team list and expected to belt us.

And the bitching to the ref constantly. Sheesh

Ali’s defence was bad - someone needs to work with him on that .

I watched Healey with interest and his service from dummy half is not great - again another work on .

It was good to see Mark Peard back behind the mic tonight !

Unfortunately, what Leiataua showed on defence tonight was nothing new. It was my biggest worry leading into the game. This is his 4th season around the FG side now. Sure he has had a lot of injury disruptions, but for a big body his contact on defence is very poor. He reminds me of Peta Hiku, but Hiku could score or set up a brilliant try for every one he let in.

I'm not for him working it out in FG personally. He needs to go to reserve grade, do the hard yards and dominate the opposition on defence. You can't hide defensive liabilities in FG. Granted we are low on options.

they are off their head if they think they were hard done by. If anything, the ref has to be taken to task for not having the balls to hand out a sin bin (probably should have been at least 2). At the ground you could see how cynical their tactics were. I have to assume that this is a deliberate coaching tactic as the chooks have always been an ill-disciplined team under Robbo. So maybe Robbo needs to look at himself in the mirror.

Wrong headspace completely!
Couldn't believe the whinging at the ref from well established players. They came here expecting 2 points the easy way.

A pt about Capewah: I have never seen him run such a good line like he did tonight. Maybe we are just used to him being such a defensive rock and an important leadership ingredient that we forget that he is also a great footy player. Hopefully we see more of that for the coming weeks.
Capewell is one of our best players both sides of the ball....reason he's been so successful and a guy they bring in to the Queensland Origin team so much.
