I'd really like us to get Melbourne round one instead of 5-6 rounds in every year when the team is trying to build momentum. Our performance against he Storm seems to constantly define our season.

That come back last year really fucked us too.

NZWarriors.com

Hopefully we can stem the flow and take something into next round

The binning and the injury to JFH within a short period didn’t help our cause at all

The actual issue we had is being unable to tackle dominantly, stopping offloads

But it’s more of a case of we’re unfortunate and Melbourne are absolutely playing clinically rather than us being piss poor
Wot
We are piss poor

What I mean is we have front loaded our game on suffocating the other team. We will win games this season solely on the back of effort and limiting errors. Our kicking game is insanely predictable because of this. We rarely even compete for them. Our attack was not asking much and defended fairly easily.

We have had no answers and been relying on effort in previous games. This game has exposed the cracks that plenty in here were saying had been papered over in previous games. I don't think we can change anything player wise so the reality is what we are seeing. A mid table team based on effort plays.

Mid season on heavy tracks and wet weather will suit us better.
Had a feeling about this. Especially when teams would shift but make some errors. And we get lucky.
Not Melbourne. Been absolutely clinical.

This isn't a reflection on us, we're still a team on the way up, Storm will make any team look average or worse at home on a warm Sunday arvo, just stay grounded folks! We're just not at that level yet.

Most would expect this result when you look at our team. We have strong young centres and 2 future star forwards on the bench. The rest are average skill level great work ethic players.

All this talk about Addin being a kunt off the feild & disrupting the team harmony. Fish is better because he's a nice guy with a ton of mana doesn't transfer to shit on the paddock. Addin put the work in & provided world class prop play.

No use having world-class centres if our wings are to big & slow or to small to do anything when they've been given the ball.

Clark aside , Our backrow is average as fuck. Put a young (but he might get exposed) Leka Halasima and it changes the dynamic of our attack. May be ever so slightly but we have a shit ton more ability on the edges with him in the side.

I have been sitting on the fence with Metcalf. He is to fragile & unsure. Bring Temaire back. Give Metcalf a few games in cup to get some confidence.

Webby, Grow a pair. Drop some of these non performers (Nuikore & Ford)
