One part of me says great comeback and fantastic game...but the other half says we just lost to the Storm without NAS and Munster. Not sure what to make of it.

We were without Egan, CNK & Nuikore. We did pretty well ourselves.

That game reminded me of the early rounds last year. Give up early points which puts us in a hole that we have to work our way out of it.

Also some of the later games last year when we were getting stronger in the second half.

A bit gutting as were all over the top sides last year due to injuries or a few events. This one was a few great plays late.

Anyone else concerned we couldn't close this game out? No good blaming officials. Would have thought DWZ would have wrapped up Coates legs instead of trying to bump him into touch when he's 10 feet in The air. 0-2 wasn't how I pictured the season to start, until next week!

I said last week it looked like Tuaupiki was looking like he'd make a break. He had the good run out of the in goal and had some good kick returns where he'd get through defenders and find his front.

Also thought Lussick had a good game. A big effort playing that long in the middle.

Last Week Taine topped the meters ran by all NRL fullbacks, only to be roundly criticized in here by people that are looking for a new player to be as good as the best in the world on debut.

He was our best defensive player tonight with the way he handled all the Storm trickery on the last.
