Great player. Great assistant coach next to legendary head coaches. As a Warriors coach. Not too impressed. Liked his offloads when I first saw him as a magpie.

It appears Kearney might be mostly retired but still acts in a mentoring role with the New Zealand Kiwis and working with the NZRL pathways programs in Queensland as he details right at the start of a podcast he did in November 2024.
