Webby has performed his fair share of player mentality miracles, but I dunno. I just get feeling Ponga wouldn't be it, for us.
Still can’t get onboard with the salary but if that could be adjusted, I think he could when I look at the amount of forwards and backs that have gone to another level or better under Webster. There’s too many unanswered questions regarding Ponga and making himself unavailable for Aussie last year for there not to be something going on behind the scenes regarding his future and his form drop

Interesting looking at the way nsw played through their stats, it almost gives the impression that Cleary played the running five eighth role even though he’s listed at 7. 20 runs and 136 running metres as opposed to Moses 6 runs for 38m. 10 tackle breaks for Cleary too and 4 to Moses. The game seems to be heading towards halfbacks being the runners more so than the five eighths

We got pumped by a very good Blues side, not many, if any chinks in their armour based on last nights display.

I thought Lomax and Haas were exceptional, how good would Lomaz look at a half decent NRL side! 💙 Mighty NSW ability to off load in the tackle was telling, their big men with big motors is frightening, they just keep rolling up the field drawing in way too many defenders and then you have speed and skill through the backline finishing it off, sadly looks like a dynasty side to me. Having Bellyache in the fold ties it up in a nice red bow.

For QLD Morons I can't remember Munster taking the line on all night, I really thought he would have a blinder, he sure needed to. Dearden needs to start and we are realistically 3 dynamic players short in all fairness. I truly thought Billy's coaching would pull us through, not sure why, he just seems to give off a winners vibe, but alas we looked pretty average except for a few periods where we went coast to coast and on each occasion nearly or did break the line. I still think KP is a game breaker, he just never gets any good ball in space, a battering ram he isn't.

Now to put up with the gloating.......

Still remember my half back days as a junior.
Was more a hooker passing from dummy half if I wasn't at first receiver.
I guess the dummy half was so it actually got to stand off because I was a running ball hog I think???
The days when centers weren't split.

Noticed it now since you mentioned it.
Metcalf,Hughes,Campbell,Sexton,Smith etc run a fair bit.

Dearden shifting to 7 at cowboys apparently, Galvin going to bulldogs to play 7, Dylan Brown heading to knights to play 7. All running five eighths

And Tabuai-Fidow, wandering around like a headless chook
I get sometimes you want to best players on the field but Slater needs to keep people in their positions.

Hammer to 1. Holmes to 4. Arthurs one wing, Coates to left wing, that's his side.

DCE to go. Dearden or Munster to 7.

Horseface has origin mentality. Need to pick him.

Critta the prince of centres.
Fotuaika.
People on here bag my old mate Bunty.
But on my watch only attack last night Moe is a Bunty.
Crazy seeing all the talk of changes needed for Queensl@nd is pretty much their entire backline when it was up front and in the middle of the park where N S W had total domination.

When your starting prop in Fotuaika has a game total of only 4 runs for 38 metres and your pack in general is getting dominated with and without the ball its nigh impossible for your spine create attack from thin air.

Queensl@nd probably have only Carrigan and Tino that can match it with that N S W pack. Harry Grant is class but N S W did a great job continuously running their bigger bodies at him nullifying any potential threat he may have had with ball in hand. And the problem is i dont really see the cattle around the traps they can call in for re-enforcements'.......Horsborough?.....maybe......sure as hell aint the Loiero's and Fermor's of the world.

Unless they can unearth a few Gagai (puts on a superman cape in the S.O.O arena) types i dont know where they go from here

Yes its probably just re arranging deck chairs on the Titanic but Queensl@nd have to do something different.....id go

1. Hammer (centre's not his natural position and u want him somewhere that his speed is best utilized, plus Ponga's form is just shit atm)
2. Cobbo (with their pack getting dominated they need bigger bodies to get their sets rolling, Cobbo fits that bill)
3, Toia (young fella didnt look out of place, deserves another shot)
4. Holmes/Gagai (desperate enough to go Gagai who never played a bad S.O.O game and hope some of that success ruibs off on his team mates)
5. Coates
6. Munster
7, Dearden/Cherry Evans (halves had no forward platform laid for them, do u give giraffe neck another shot with the hope they can get a bit more parity up front, or start the Dearden reign now....i dunno)
8. Tino
9. Reuben Cotter (just let him be the tackle machine, soak up the early defensive load then bring a fresh Harry Grant on to let rip)
10. Josh Papali'i (think he may have retired from the rep scene but they desperately need another big boppa to get them go forward, even if its for limited minutes......and i just cant think of anyone remotely like this in the Queensl@nd catchment)
11. Nanai
12. Jayden Sua (dudes got a bit of mongrel about him)
13, Carrigan (captain)

14, Harry Grant
15, Corey Horsburgh (not as good but a similar hot head to Leniu}
16; Lindsay Smith
17. Kurt Capewell (main role to bring defensive line speed while providing back cover)
