Geez you can tell all the bandwagoners that jumped on board last year......their usually the loudest when things dont go to plan lol.

Disappointed but not too worried yet tbh. We we're far far far from our best yet were still just a converted try away from what wouldve been an undeserved win against a slick outfit.

Errors and penalties killed momentum - by and large in our control.
Unable to dominate the ruck in the middle with fast play the balls so when we did go wide we hadnt created numbers - somehow need AFB tp play 80 minutes, will also help once Niukore gets back, plus Charnze as some of the timing on our shifts we're off.

Welcome to the NRL folks, where if your even slightly off your game the team running last will cut u, let alone a good side like the Sharks. Dont ditch your season passes just yet.

Need to be better across the park tho, no two ways about it.

Ford was terrible tonight.

Can't play with one half. Metcalf surprised me with a great individual try but you can't ignore the rest of his play. Absolute passenger in the second half with the game on the line. If you want the odd highlight then he is ok.
Metcalf is really good when we are on the front foot but as soon as posession evens up and we need to put in a bit more effort he goes missing.

Wade is just too important to our attack to be off the field for half a game. Our direction, sharpness, shape the whole shabang in attack is non-existent without him on the field.

I think we ice a chance if he didn't cook his elbow straight after coming back on.

Looked to be a hyper-extension of the elbow, so could be without him for a few weeks maybe more.

Our guys probably got a bit frustrated and were rightly told by the ref to calm down and stop arguing every decision.

What gets frustrating though is Hynes was waving his arms around pretty much every tackle complaining. Looked like he was doing star jumps after every tackle at some points.

The penalties we gave away were frustrating and something we need to clean up. When we had that roll on in the first half we alleviated a lot of the pressure due to penalties. Yes it could be the referee giving them a leg up but there would be something there for him to find.

Mind you a few more our way during that time we were putting a lot of pressure on their line would have been nice. One tackle the ref tells the Sharks player not to work him, followed by the Shark continuing to wrestle/work him.

Ford a hindrance on the last play a few times. We could of scored a few but he was in the way. Or he'd hog the ball.

Bench props non event, No impact.

Lussicks dummy half service was terrible, Lay on the opposition to long and gave away penalties.

Metcalf is a great runner. Does not do much else. Missed some easy tackles. Last play options were shit. Caught with the ball a few times and messed up our last play options.

Sj looked tired. And some of his option taking was kick/pass and hope at the end.

Berry always to far in feild on dee & the sharks were capitalising on it on attack. Opening us up on several occasions.

Tuaupiki wasn't bad. Just doesn't have the experience like CNK to draw in players with those sweeping backline plays.

Tohu a monster as usual. AFB did his thing. Capewell will be better for the run. Barnett worked hard.

Would love to see Ali Leiataua play next week with Roger to FB.
Laban get a run in place of Dylan Walker. If Egan is good to go I'd have CHT at 17 instead of Lussick.

Yeah lots of sack the coach retards on tonight.

I partly blame that NRL fantasy shit, a generation of on paper coaches and gambling addicts that think they know more than the real thing / actual NRL coaches.

You me and Defence know the Sharks are tough thanks to following Johnson, these idiots play it on names and power rankings rather than watching Shark games.

Lussick - world class defender, terrible dummy half. No clean ball to get a roll on with once Egan went off. He doesn't have the ball skills to be an NRL player.

Metcalf - offers nothing except the occasional good run. We need a 5/8th to partner SJ. We need someone that can take an occassional kick and help steer the team.

SJ was immense. If he goes down, we will get hosed.

If we don't learn to pass properly it will be a long season.

Ford - as mentioned previously, I wish he left and Curran stayed.
