Shout out to RTS and the centre experiment. After 2024 he’s really looked at home.

1 - he’s decisive on defence and hits and sticks most times. Running out early if need be and generally reading the oppositions attack well
2 - in attack, he’s choosing early and correctly to run it or tip it on to AKP
3 - he’s still chipping in with hard, quality meters out of our end
4 - he’s a great clubman and hasn’t dropped lip being shuffled around where he was so at home on the wing

We look so much better as an edge with him there in both attack and defence.

Man, I think we win that first half by lots if everything he touches didn’t turn to custard for the first while. He put us under a lot of pressure.

The boys powered through though, and that's huge against a team like the phins.

I just hope he shakes it all off and gets back to the wrecker we know him for. Such a bulldozer when he's in the zone.

Good win IMO. Came back from behind and then ground out the last few mins. DWZ drop ball in the final minutes almost killed me though.

TT was great. Really hoping we don't see CNK back in the side. Love the guy but I honestly think he's a bit cooked now. People try and bring up specific scenarios how CNK might of "saved that try" by being "bigger" but I don't think that's a good enough reason. Beside's i've seen CNK being absolutely cooked 1 on 1 at the back a number of times.

Ford, JFH and Clark all excellent. Demetric huge presence off the bench.
AKP is a great finisher and the AKP/RTS combo really looks like it's gelling.

Boyd was having to take the line on a lot in this game with the Dolphins defense rushing up to shut the play from getting to our edges.
So true and several times he took a tough carry rather than passing to a player in a worse position.

I think their rush defence got the better of us in moments - but we still managed to break it down plenty - as the 9 line breaks suggest. On another day we ice another couple of opportunities and put 30+ on them.

Feels like we have been pretty high intensity for a few weeks now and need to just get the win over Paramatta and let everyone reset

It was good decision-making from Boyd and fortunately we have THC to take the kick in the fifth.
It would be good to have players cut back under our run the inside line of Boyd, the Roosters so that really well..

I thought we were pretty good defensively, AKP has some work to do but looks willing to improve.

Attack was very clunky at times, I thought the Dolphins edged the battle up front and Boyd and CHT aren’t nearly as effective without go forward ball.

Two valuable points and 6 from 8 and 2nd in the ladder is a great start to the season. Still a bit of room for improvement though.

Leka’s a superstar and future legend of the club… but still so young and learning so much.

Man, I think we win that first half by lots if everything he touches didn’t turn to custard for the first while. He put us under a lot of pressure.

It will be interesting how we use him in the back end of the season.

The next 10 rounds we have 3 byes, and then have a 9 game stretch to finish the season.

Leka, and others are looking tired atm, so I think there needs to be some kind of plan where in that last month of footy before finals we give a bunch or our players the opportunity to freshen up.
