So it was Ken Laban the main caller? never heard the Sky coverage.

Ken Laban is an awesome commentator.

Yea he was.

Monty B was the other one and Honey was sideline commentator

Ken isnt too bad when commentating rugby but was bit dull last night

I thought
Also, I try not to complain about the officiating, but there were some shockers...

The other one where TT had hit the ground and Herbie lifts and body slams him deserved a penalty as well.

I thought this year overall the officiating standard had improved, but this round it's regressed massively for some reason. There was a blatant knock on in the Dragons Roosters game which led to a try in the next tackle that everyone on the field except the ref saw.

Also cannot fathom how Riki and Hayes got a grade 2, but Critter and Burton escaped with fines for at minimum equal, but arguably even more deliberate and dangerous plays in the Dogs Broncos game.

And on the commentary, it's sky sports that need to uppercut. They should be looking for the commentary talent, it just seems they think anyone with knowledge of a sport can commentate, it's far more nuance than that.
My problem was the camera people, ugh that was hard to watch here in Australia. Glad I'm going to the Eels game live so I don't have to worry about it.

Last night was an old-school arm wrestle where both teams defence cancelled each others out. To keep an attacking team like the Phins scoreless in the second half was some effort. Jacko ford with 57 tackles and another 80mins was immense.

On a side note, it’s good to see both centres linking up with their outside men. Big credit to RTS and Ali who have had their own struggles in this department

I've seen a few people claiming he played averagely last night.

Did these people notice how many hit ups our backs were taking?

But yeah, he deserves his flowers for that clutch moment.

Man our spacing and formation was shit around Boyd, guys constantly standing too shallow and crowding him (and CHT) making them too easy to swamp with the Dolphins rushing Defence.

Its the wildest 10 seconds the more you watch it. Like the upside down grapple, Ali wanting to fight, the ref saying play on and the deliberate penalty and then leka wanting to fight again all for just a 6 again
If the match officials did their jobs correctly or even correctly enough. None of that shit would have happened.

as Averillo didn’t contest with both arms.
Is this now the rule for both attacking & defending teams? If it is, I personally think the defending team, at least, should have the ability to deliberately knock it out out bounds like they can with grubbers
