I must say that Clarks signature move; the acceleration into contact and sharp step back to create space, is almost unstoppable. Its like Nowitzki's one legged fade away jumper. Pretty sure he did it to Tino.

Hopefully Erin's MVP season ends more like Dirk's Finals MVP season than Dirk's league MVP season.

Sorry stifling discussion wasnt the point of sharing that. Had the same thought as the OP if EC really was by far the best player for the Warriors in 25, and as you can see the cards at the bottom help support that he was miles ahead of anyone. There is no bias in any of that and its all dynamically generated.

The other reason was that its a cool way of looking at prior seasons as we trundle along. Every stat is collected from 2025 onwards.

Had me thinking yesterday, Dylan Walker was released early in the season. He was a key member of the team and how we played. Had the contract to support it too. Its a testament to Erin Clark how he has filled the role that there hasnt been no/minimal noise of us missing Dylan Walker.

Tough call but I gotta go RTS, I just think his impact is as a winger is so under rated.... we have people here rightfully saying we don't have great stocks in our wing department and a lack of speed.

But RTS is an elite winger and has been fantastic....because of this year, I think everyone will be remembering his comeback to the Warriors with fondness and as a success.

And Erin or RTS are almost guarantees

But IMO, there’s nuance to it all.
For me, the player of the year is Wayde Egan. Without Egan, we’re not in the top 4. Period.

He's only missed 3 games and over 60% of those have been over 70 minutes. He very much can last 80 minutes, just doesn't need to.

The game where RTS ran for the 2nd most meters ever for a winger was eye opening thats for sure.

Was this not after being the only winger since 2019 to run 250 plus metres in 3 straight matches? Then in the forth he goes for over 300m

Clark had a better first half of the season, RTS has had a better back half of the season.

I voted RTS, probably just because it's been so bloody long since we've had a truly elite wing!

Barnett and Metcalf were both injured half way through the season.

Metcalf is talked as a $1m priority re-signing and Daly M leader but Barnett is mentioned in our most influential players list which I agree with and nobody has mentioned Metcalf. Barney also tops Metcalf on the season forum polling.

Good point. We’ve got short memories, he was being mentioned as an nsw bolter early in the season
