International Pacific Championship

Feels like a bit of a stitch up from ARLC/NRL- Putting the game in Hamilton rather than Auckland, and having the tickets so expensive.

Though, I assume the NZRL has also let themselves get walked over if they have any reservations about it

international RL crowds in NZ are only decent when Tonga and Samoa play.
If they wanted to play the game in the Waikato , should have gone to Davies Park, Huntly.

The crowd is small, but making some good noise for Aussie errors / Kiwis tries.

I read somewhere the ticket prices were ridiculous - it is a problem with the game on both sides of the ditch. It is a game that isn't terrible to watch on TV (unlike AFL and soccer) and the fans like to have a beer / feed at the game (which will also be overpriced at a stadium), so ticket prices need to be attractive to get fans to the game, especially in the current economic environment...

The NRL, ARL and NZRL need to change their strategy.
