Why not add PNG or Fiji and have 4 teams and everyone plays each other. Same amount of games.
But they’re just games.

What are the All Blacks essentially doing right now? But on tour.

Imagine a triple header at Eden Park.
Kiwi ferns vs jillaroos
Tonga vs Fiji/PNG
Kiwis vs Samoa.

That would get a very healthy crowd.

Who would play in that? They can barely string together a cohesive side for the All Stars game - and now take out everyone who would prefer to represent NZ.

It would be an absolute C string side that would do zero for the international game.

māori are as proud & staunch as our Tongan & Samoan brothers
You'd be surprised how many of them would prefer to represent a one off Tournament with Aotearoa māori than the Kiwis. Not that they would. But that heart of theirs would be Torn if they had the option.

Your comment made it sound like māori players wouldn't even entertain the thought of repping māori? Lol.
Anyway, players like Ponga ,Jack Howarth & Reece Walsh can play for māori & still play Origin & play for Australia. UK based players as well. They'd have a handy team.

There's no simple way of winning a season long competition. Complaining though. This is a vital part of a fan's duty. I'm ready for next season. 🫠
 
Anderson, Biddle & Amber Hall keeping the Ferns in this game. Only 8 points in it. Hufanga & Captain Hale offer nothing. Ex 7s player Tyla King can't tackle to save herself.
 
Our halves couldn't organize a piss up in a brewery.

One thing to ride shotgun with McGregor or Brigganshaw, it's another when you've got to organize the show yourself.

Hopefully they turn it around next 40.

We've got 2 of the most destructive players in the game in Hall and Hufanga on one edge, and they refuse to use them.

Yup! Hufanga is not her normal abrasive self tho. She's handbraking in attack and dee. Amber is still most likely with Annessa Biddle. Hufanga's wing partner looks the goods too. Powerful! But they aren't getting the ball on that side.
 
We keep going to the right side, but we're not actually getting Biddle into space, we're just giving it to her and hoping.

Missing Raecene McGregor... It's not working having two stand offs in the halves.

She's a good support runner , hole hitter. She's definitely not a playmaking fullback.

This ref letting Oz get away with forward passes, Knock on's & just now the Aussie player lost the ball playing it. ..Play on. Where's the neutral refs!!??
