Both of those places make sense. So expect it to be in Townsville or Christchurch.

If it is at Mt Smart I'll definitely be there as neutral to soak up the atmosphere.

Picking we'll see a much stronger Samoan team this time around.
I’m hoping the Payne Haas rumours are true and he plays for Toa.
Might persuade big Tino as well 🤞🏽
Samoa vs Tonga at full strength, one of the best products in Rugby League.
Add Kiwis at full strength next year the Pacific Championships will be unbelievable.

Kind of says something about the state of the international game that national teams need to play in another country so that their fans can attend…
You’re correct.
So what’s the alternative. Not play the game that can generate money and elevate the product.
It’s always been the way that the pacific nations haven’t played in their countries, just wondering the difference for this year?

Sad thing is I wouldn't even be surprised. Watch them trot out some nonsense about taking the colour of the Pacific to new horizons or something.

I really want a Kiwi Ferns v Jillaroos game in Auckland too. It's crazy that the last time that happened was 2018.

All these rumours on Haas, Tino and Hammer.
Now with Kevie confirmed for the Kangaroos gig I hope the players just confirm one way or the other who they will be representing.
The media just recycling these stories being vague and saying they’re considering defecting.
They say Queensland wasn’t scared when Laurie Daley was announced NSW coach. I reckon international teams won’t be scared Walters named Australia coach in the same way

He hasn't been available for the Kiwis for a few years. If anything he could be back just in time for the tournament. I would have been surprised if he was in this tournament even if he was injury free. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. A great servant to the Kiwis.

Our best half and inform stand off(Kodi) both injured.

Dylan Brown playing reserves.
Isaiah Katoa will probably stick with Tonga.
Ethan Strange will take the origin bait or choose England
JMK , Clarke ,Crossland,ZDC are all halves playing in different positions.
Kris,CNK have played as a halves.

My wild guess if our top two aren't back will be Dylan Brown and Pheonix Crossland.

My out of the box nothing to lose pair would be Sebastian Kris and Taine Tuaupiki.
