Will be miffed if we miss out on Samoa v Tonga at Mt Smart because they want to play it in Melbourne or something stupid.

Has to be Auckland and if not Western Sydney hey.

Samoa vs Tonga at full strength, one of the best products in Rugby League.
Add Kiwis at full strength next year the Pacific Championships will be unbelievable.

Play the clubs as playing Scotland, Wales and Ireland in front a few hundred fans is not good preparation.

You play them midweek with the b team
Play France on 1st weekend, 3 GB nations midweek & 3 England tests

I think with the large Tongan and Samoan communities in Auckland it would be better playing there so both sets of fans have an opportunity to attend.

You’re correct.
So what’s the alternative. Not play the game that can generate money and elevate the product.
It’s always been the way that the pacific nations haven’t played in their countries, just wondering the difference for this year?

Sad thing is I wouldn't even be surprised. Watch them trot out some nonsense about taking the colour of the Pacific to new horizons or something.

I really want a Kiwi Ferns v Jillaroos game in Auckland too. It's crazy that the last time that happened was 2018.
