Even CHT would have been a better 6 than Charnze.Add Foran to the list too - would've given some flexibility since he can cover hooker or half.
Not hating on CNK, he’s just not a 6.

True, the pathways available are very limited for someone who aspires to play for the kiwis, current pathways inevitably lead to the roos/sos or the islands, I used to think the wahz was the direct pathway to a kiwis jersey, so wasn't too concerned - now our players , more likely to rep their heritage instead of the black jersey . the problem is the kiwis jersey no longer has the pull any more, no longer the pinnacle to aspire to, doesn't have the mana it used to have , I mean compare it to the all blacks jersey, you'd die to wear it or give an arm or a leg to play for the abs, I thought it was the same for the kiwis jersey, I blame the almitety dollar.Man, we need another Kiwi pathway.
We're completely at the mercy of Aussie clubs developing players for us. Are we randomly going to get lucky with another Jahrome Hughes, Kieran Foran etc.
Just thought about it, we've got one NZ NRL pathway, and the best prospects are all Poly boys unlikely to choose Kiwis these days.
Shaun Johnson has been pretty vocal about how he never had anyone to teach him how to be a halfback at the club and considering Stacey has been there pretty much the whole time says it all.Won't happen though. Owner really tight with Stacey.
I was a fan of Naufahu Whyte before this series. That’s now gone through the roofOn a side note, how solid was Erin Clark last night
