International Pacific Championship

My mum wanted to know who was playing. I said the NZ league team. She said I thought that was the Warriors then she wanted an explanation for the difference between both teams and I said don't worry about it.
Yeah Wrighty, my Mum was going on about "if it's an international game why ido we have a bloody Aussie ref, a sodding bunker and
a player gets put on report. That's not international thats sodding NRL" and I told her don't worry about it. It's just the NRL on a cash grabbibg exercise. You really don't want to know what she replied to that explanation.😕 Good fun eh Wrighty

The boys have 3 runs on the trot if they beat Tonga. Which after that l, I’m pretty confident.

We need another point of attack IMO, so Nikorima to 6 for me. That means CNK to centre for Hiku, who admittedly played a lot better than I gave him credit. But it is what it is.

JFH playing the first 40 is madness, Stacey got the shit from Andrew Webster. I hope like hell that doesn’t happen at the Warriors

Much as I’ll cop it, I’d do what you said but CNK for Timoko. Thought Hiku deserved his spot and I think it’s been a bit of a disappointing season for Timoko from where he was

Happy with that. I can see us tipping them up in the final provided we beat Tonga. Just a couple of selection changes or positional for me. For those saying that looked very Warriors in the way we played, does that indicate Stacey is responsible for our attacking structures, or has he incorporated it into the Kiwi side? It was it simply that SJ was the dominant half?
I don't have stats to back things up, but for me it looked very Warriors in terms of good field position, territory but an inability to capatalise, I could just be biased but I thought we looked the better side at stages, as for Stacey..... respectable debut.... but use your best players when it counts. Did Kodi even get on?

A bit rough on SJ since he was their only go to, CNK a point too high on D, but I'm all up for @wrightys stats

Looking forward to SJ SOS middle of next year to come out of retirement. He looked good today. Controlled everything and ran with the ball. Without him running the show we’d have been flogged. Just missing Hughes X factor in the halves to really test that Aussie line.

What is this Mickey Mouse rating … SJ 5.5???? Please. 😂

Yeah SJ;s positional and depth kicking was test match standard tonight and was probably better than Moses considering Mitchell put one out of on the full.

The major concern I had with SJ in the red zone all year was executing the plays at a slow near walking speed slow trot before he handed off behind his back to a forward and the forward is expected to magic the ball across the try line from 7 metres out.

Anyway I don't want to be negative. He answered the call of his country and that could have been 50 - 10 without SJ repeatedly pinning them near their try line at the end of a set.

Picking some SJ magic to win this series and pull out a blinder in Vegas. That'll just about do me!
