Good job. Even Jack Howarth said he was gutted at the rules saying he’d love to have played for Queensland and the Kiwis. We certainly miss out the most through the way it’s designed

I think our squad is strong considering all the injuries - we have entered a new era where even with injuries we aren't out of the contest.

Some thoughts I have about the team
- Kodi and Hughes are the halves pairing, with Hiku able to cover five-eight perhaps if injury comes to those 2 (thank goodness). Crossland could but he is hooker. Maybe CNK if needed but surely he is starting FB?
- Keoni Kini and Trent Toleau to me are the backups for CNK and Nikorima respectively. The incumbents just have too much experience to just drop em
- Who spells Crossland at hooker? Maybe Erin Clark is break in case of emergency
- Hiku to Joey Manu's centre position vacated for me - he has been playing their and carving up this year
- Briton Nikora straight swapped for Jordan Riki. Papa and Tapine other backrowers.
- To me the bench is Leo and Griffin + Erin Clark (who also is lock/hooker cover) and one second rower out of Scott Sorenson and Marata. Scott because he is recently back from injury and Marata because of form (I wish he played for cook islands instead)
