Dang I blew out on that one.

I thought I had it cracked after doing lots of lateral thinking about the name clue.

Came up with King Vuniyayawa....I was so excited, I had cracked the code on question 2.

Khan as in the great Khan, meaning King....ruler of all.....ah shit I was too clever for my own good.

When that failed I hit a wall and blew out at 8.

Interesting person this guy, I won't say why.

This forum could form a mean pub quiz team.

I stumbled (literally) upon the end of a pub quiz last week, the winning team was called 'Up the Wahs, Down the Pints'.

Hah, even when the face became clear, I was like "I recognise that person but dumb brain is being dumb" and took a few more clues before I eventually got it - at least I keep my little streak alive

The last 4 guys have a combined 5 wins between them at the club & Botica contributed 4 of these by himself. We've all done well to stick with the club through some horrendous periods

Interesting that in 12 challenges so far, only 4 challenges where noone guessed correctly first up. In most challenges multiple users got it right straight away!

I considered him early on but thought "nah he wasn't that position" and cast his name from my mind, then the absolute gimme clue later on had me nearly literally face-palming hah!

Happy to keep the streak going, but a good score gone begging!

On a side note, not sure how I feel about the "you are not close at all you dumbass" popups that show after each guess

Strangely enough the position was the one that sealed it for me, I remember being surprised when he played for his new club as it was different to where he played with us

I use some research when guessing, usually at least have up a list of players who have played for the Warriors. Some of the first clues can really narrow it down, eg that one was "100% win rate at 2 NRL clubs". Much harder if the first clue is something generic like "Auckland born".

Sam here Evil_Mush, I thought about putting him in early but instead hit the Reveal Clue button a bunch of times. Maybe need to just go for the guess next time!
