Was it worth the effort to get to that tricky ground bro?
There were a couple of shots on TV where the rain became visible and it was hosing down.

Thought of you and all the other die hard legends that went even though the night was crapola.
In all honesty no lol.
Started off kinda bad when the seats the numbers had worn off so had the situation where people were in our seats but you could just tell there was no way they were moving.
Went with a couple of mates with our kids as a bit of a test run and it wasn’t really the right night for it, the “family zone” was right by the PA speakers so the kids weren’t to keen on the noise.
The main grandstand which is predominantly Dragons members is the only covered seating area at the ground so we ended up standing most of the game huddle under some shelter by the concourse, they had ground staff constantly moving people that were doing the same on.

We actually ended up leaving early as the kids had enough and we wanted to beat the crowds on the trains etc.
I’ve been to Kogarah a couple of times but to be honest it’s not a great stadium and I usually avoid it (like shark park), there’s much better options now with Allianz and Bankwest in particular are great and even the likes of Accor for all its faults has plenty of covered areas to view if the weather turns.
Might try again next week with the Panthers game at a much better stadium.

Dragons should take some heart they actually weren't that far off from us in a number of KPI's.

One of the few teams to beat us in the possession stakes this year, pretty much on par with the completion rate, broke more tackles, had more offloads, kicked for more metres, missed less tackles, and on par with us for errors, penalties and ruck infringements.

They just couldnt fire any shots when they got into good field position (and they got there often enough). Whereas almost everytime we got down their end we'd come away with something. Lukey Mets and especially Scotty Drinkwater (the most try assists of any player the last 4 seasons) will improve them in this regard......there's a glimmer of hope there for them.

Swings and roundabouts man.....all clubs have them.......celebrate the good times, stay the course through the tough......Warrior fans know this.
Sounds like an after game change room pep talk

LoFi was taken out for the Dragon's first try. If we had challenged I think there is a reasonable probability that the try would be overturned.

That double pump by CHT before the pass for LoFi's second try was sheer beautiful artistry. I am not convinced LM has that level of ball playing in him. For me CHT is the best number 6 we have if LM is fit or not.

Good read thanks.
Especially the honesty. I have never enjoyed a game in the rain (I won't bother going now when it is raining unless it is a big one like the Storm or a final).

Last shitty weather day was at Mt Smart with my kids watching a low scoring Storm V Warriors bore fest (kids were bored, I just wanted to get them home so they'd shut up lol).

Bro you get an all weathers fan badge and a taking the kids medal for that effort.

I love our away fans, man the Locals need to up their game, start a Hikoi into Mt Smart, get the drum out....

great result, average performance, shitty conditions. ideal pre-penrith tbh, we will take more out of that than we would have if we flogged the drags, plus previous years we'd have likely lost this. the boys will dial in this week and regardless of the result against the panthers i fully expect us to bash them and make their lives hell. if they beat us, they'll have to work for it
