Pick Your Team NZ Warriors v Parramatta Eels - [Round 9, 2026]

According to the judiciary report, only CHT got cited and he will get off with a fine. So DWZ and Leka are fine to play it seems:

1. Tuaupiki
2. DWZ
3. Pompey
4. RTS
5. AKP
6. CHT
7. Boyd
8. JFH
9. Egan
10. Ford
11. Halasima
12. Capewell
13. Clark
14. Tafua
15. Vaimauga
16. Laban
17. Gannon
18. Niukore
20. Hanson

TMM and Metcalf to get through a game in cup before the bye. Healey did well yesterday but think he needs to build some minutes, so do that in cup and give Makaia a crack in FG. Picking Gannon over EIT on a hunch but need Niukore on extended bench in case a big body is needed after 30 mins.

CNK, TMM, Metcalf, Healey and EIT to be the most OP spine seen in cup history.

Agree with TMM and Metcalf to spend a few games in cup.

Not sure why we would bring them in to the first team without testing them out in a game or two first. Both terribly injury prone and in need of gametime first

Whoever the #14 is, I'd like to see them introduced before halftime. Obviously it's an extra Interchange to bring Egan back but in the last 2 weeks we've only used 7 interchanges (granted HIAs have played a part) but our last one in both games was a 5 min stint from a forward and against the Storm our final sub was Niukore on for CHT with 5 to go

Feel bad for Api koroisau he got smashed,
They're so unfair with their processes imo.

CNK at centre when Pompey is available?
Yes. If my memory serves me correctly CNK played right centre this year with the Pompadour exclusively on the left. I watched Pomps play NSW cup and he didn't blow me away.

I really like him as a player for his consistency and durability. However, I am loving Roger and Lofi on the left so for the sake team stability and keeping a winning team I went with CNK at centre. The obvious corollory is that I generally prefer TT at fullback. However, stoked with out depth such that we could equally put CNK to fullback and Pompinator to right centre and still have a decent backline.

Understand your argument but CNK arguably played his worst ever games for the club while at right Centre. I don’t see why Webby can’t make the call to put CNK on the extended bench until either TT starts to see a drop in form or until he works on his deficiencies which were exposed badly while he was playing in the centres.

I think CNK has also played right centre for the Kiwi's. Yes, I can't remember him doing well this year at centre and I would be happy enough with Pompey at right centre if he can play that position. Has Pompey played on the right? I am just keen that Webby doesn't disrupt the left side where RTS and LoFi and building a good partnership and I think Taine should retain fullback.

SO if CNK doesn't play centre, would I have him on the bench? Not sure, as I like TMM as cover but to leave a Kiwi's and Warriors great in CNK out of the team is testament to our depth. I also think Webby tends to favour the returning incumbents, but I hope our two losses have tempered that tendency a little.

Solely left for Kiwis.
His only time on the right prior to his recent 2 game stint was Rd 26 2024, where he actually looked quite good with 1 try, 2 linebreaks, 120m, 6 tackle breaks & 15/16 tackles.
SJ put on a masterclass inside him though in his final NRL appearance
