Have I read correct that you are giving Fifita another week to see how he goes? That would be wise as Bennett has handed him the keys as an 80 minute player so he may be worth holding onto. The sin bin he got that shaved off some points was ridiculous as well, he didn't do a thing wrong and would have otherwise finished somewhere closer to 50 with the extra time on the field.
Also I've got Lisati on my bench, but be aware that there's a chance Chan and Blore may start when he returns, so make sure you have enough second row stocks for this possibility if you are strong on dropping Fifita.

My opponent is Rizzah. He has guns on his bench and some of his lesser players in his starting 13 so you get lulled into a false sense of confidence at first glance at his team. I will do well to run him close.

Yeah, Brown is a massive hold. I just don't really have anyone else to trade. I can see it costing me though.
I’m off Brown. I know it’s very early but even when Fletcher Sharpe went off he still wasn’t a dominant half. Everything was spread between Ponga and Sandon Smith, with Brown occasionally there. Newcastle are still Newcastle and he’s not even a dominant half in a below average team, I don’t see his scores being a worry.

Yeah, Ponga seems to be the dominant player in the team. It was only one game though and his first with the team. People think he could become this years Metcalf but Metcalf was the main man who did almost all the kicking and had goal kicking etc. I do honestly think Brown could be a decent scorer this season and if he looks like he will be i will bring him back.

Is Noah Martin really a must have? I generally don't like bringing a guy in that is about to play the Warriors, but he is also coming against Chanel/Capewell/Pompey which I would rate far better defensively than Brooks/Ben Turbo/Koula.. Doubt he going to keep playing 80 when Timoko returns and Sasagi is back on the bench as well?
Couchman I don't really want to touch coming up against the Storm lol, plus Liddle back in a week or so and I already have two Dragons.
Chan I could be keen on but already have Leo, Lisati, and Fa'alogo.
Hau I want to lean towards.. if I make a trade at all Cooper Bai will be the guy going out.
Also, I gotta say, I understand the basic "If he scores less than this he loses money, if he scores more than this he makes money" but I really don't understand how breakevens work the week following a massive game when a players B/E goes into the negatives haha

Yes he's a must have for cash gen and presumably you should be able to move to him in one go via an underperforming cow.
I'm going Bai to Martin in one go, feels a good move.
His BE this week is -20. It's not 100% accurate but approximately the number a player beats their BE is the $1,000s they will rise. (Likewise fall if they don't hit it)
So Martin could go out and have an absolute stinker, score zero and still rise in price by 20k
BEs are based on an average across 3 games. If Martin averages 40 across the next 3 weeks, he'll rise another $150k+

Like Makasene said. Hes as close to a must have as any fantasy player will ever be. Hes very cheap, has a history of scoring well in reserve grade, scored really well in his first week, has a crazy -20 BE and seems to have his role sewn up for a while.
Players score - their BE is usually pretty close to the price change. So if martin scores a 20 he will make approximately $40k
I've pretty much just repeated Makasenes post haha. One very minor thing i will add is that no one actually knows how the rolling average is calculated. some people say 3 week or 5 week rolling average but there seems to be some type of formula they use and no ones been able to quite work it out that ive seen so far.
