What do you guys think of a forum fantasy team. Next year, I make an account for that team, then everyone (who plays fantasy) votes and we go with majority. This means team composition and trades. I think would be a laugh?

Yea gotta do this.

The fantasy fanatics forum do this and their team is inside 100 at the moment.

I'm not sure how they selected the initial team but weekly trades go to a poll. Including the option not to make trades.

Wil need a dedicated thread to this but I am sure we can work out those details next year.

Yea I fucked up that one WFB spot this year.

Started with Stonestreet at $450k. Traded him down to Arthurs week 2 as I realised it was a silly selection.

I thought Arthurs would be ace on the end of that Broncos backline which he has been in real life but as you say his work rate not really translating to fantasy.

First time playing in about 10 years and have really loved learning more about the strategy this year. I'm doing ok, finished last round ranked 2,062 but have dropped back past 3,000 this week. Definitely have made some mistakes and wasted some trades though.
Well done on your ranking. Very impressive

I finished 42,000 in my first year last year and this year, my second year is worse, currently 63,000 but griding away. My goal is to get into top 20,000 in my second year.

On Arthurs - I stayed away from him as the Casual Athlete told me to as I tend to listen to him and that was the extent of my analysis with my 2nd year skills.

OK here we go - this the big match of the round for me.
Want to see how Cant goes.
I have traded away Howarth for him. Howarth put up a 39 today after scoring a great try. Howarth is a great player and I just decided he doesn't get much fantasy points despite being a really good player in real life.

I am jinxed one minute into the game, Knights winger injured and cant shifted from his edge to centre. What a nightmare scenario. The winger is not coming back either.

Cant looks like shouldn't have atm
He's a forward - hard to expect him to go well at centre. Anyway I have the opposite of the Midas touch
1) Name Cleary captain and he get's HIA'd
2) Trade for Haas he puts up 45 last night
3) Trade for Cant he gets put to centre one minute into the game
4) Acquired Reece Walsh for round 1 at $725K he is about to drop down to beneath $500K and Reece is looking like a spent force this year
5) I got the hammer and he scores his first try after I give up on him and trade him away
6) I really rate Jack Howarth and bought him for round one, he starts with a 60 and then crass scores after that. I have traded him
7) I bought Gilbert to be a 50 plus guy and now he is looking like 45 is a good night for him

However ask me about Super Coach - I have had horseshoes up my Wazoo and by some fluke am close to being 5 - 0 to start the season in their head to head league through sheer beginners luck.

21 at the half. Not all doom and gloom. It's weird he moves though. I would have put crossland there.

Why didn't they have a better option as a coaching staff for a winger getting injured than moving an edge who clearly is not at home at centre to centre.

The Warriors move Capewell to centre when things like this happens but Capewell is an esteemed SOO centre.

I am philosophical enough to be convinced there are swings and roundabouts. Probably I will have good luck in NRL fantasy classic soon to balance things out.

Nah that’s common, Fainu used to for the Tigers, Garner for Panthers, Trbojevic for Manly, Fermor for Titans and heaps more.
Very common for an edge to cover centre for injury.

Cant 47. Can't be too upset for playing center. I really like the look of him. Second half was hunting for tackles. Forced 3 turn overs. Pretty good.
Thanks for that intel.

I picked him as he has a high ceiling.

Let's hope he stays in the the team.
