Our teams are very evenly matched I think and will come down to whether Turbo has a blinder.
I also have Toia (who plays first) and Stewart on loop. So part of it will come down to whether I get the call right on who to play. I have made myself a pre-set rule that if Toia goes 40 and above I will stick with him. If 39 or less I will sub in Stewart.

Don't listen Wrighty I bet he's upgrading Cleary and Watson and is trying to pull the wool over your eyes 😉

I hold you responsible for somehow nefariously sabotaging Cleary last week to win our head to head and bribing someone to do an HIA on him just to win against me.
 
I have Watson, Sharpe and Cleary as non playing emergencies but managed to bring Haas in.
Got rid of Harry Grant and Dylan Lucas.
Grant is underwhelming and I needed to get rid to afford Haas.
I only have 17 possible scoring players.
Relying on some young cash cow backs to score well and Reece Walsh.
Will trade Dufty soon for the next cash cow who pops up.

That was me with Harry last year, wanting to piss him off. Stuck with him as other trades had to happen and he made up for it at the sticky end of the season with some big scores. I probably won’t bring him in this year unless his price starts with a 5 but doubt he’ll get that low

i traded away Grant after round one for a cheaper lower tier hooker who has been scoring the same as Grant and pocketed $120K profit. My only good move so far. I find it takes 3 or 4 games to really know about a player but unfortunately you need to make your mind real quick and trust your hunches.

Very true, 3/4 games I think is a good read on someone. But 3/4 games can cost you 100k down the road or 125k in the case of Payne. There’s a few bargains coming up, Cleary at a mid to low 700k is good value! Same as Walsh if he can drop another 50k+

Jenkins has the casual athlete's endorsement and Jenkins has knocked Casey Maclean out of the side. I think a lot of eyes will be on him.

I have a tough match up this week against someone who is 3-0 will see how I get on.

At this stage now that nearly all of us will have Haas this weekend - nearly everyone's forward pack including middles and second rowers looks identical.

The person who can most quickly work out the right WFBs to take is going to win the comp (amongst those who Haas off the bat)

I will point out that the reason you won’t hear people endorsing Tamale is because it will be assumed that everyone has him. It’s why Hubner and May wont be talked about much either.
 
Fantasy Coach predicting a tight loss for me.
Although The Kakapos have sneakily gone for a Mid "Player will display when live" Captain trick, would you believe, everybody?? So, of course, FC is counting that as 0 at present.
I'll get Geoff Toovey investigating that one! :)
Decided to make JFH Captain as I'm not expecting huge games from either Smith - and it's playing out that way at present - or Metcalf.
