I really hope there are no plans to take an NRL franchise to Darwin. Looked horrendous on the live tv. The Penrith players on the bench looked like they were in the sauna at one stage. Good news for us is the phins will be battered and bruised from that. Also Kodi likely scratched as well.

we can do what the dogs did to them last week. We have the players to replicate the line speed and physicality required but we need to be absolutely perfect and need everyone on deck. Basically the second half Melbourne performance for 80 minutes.

Penrith are a champion team but they do have weaknesses. It seems to me that they really do lose momentum when Collins and Moses come off and they start playing like Sorensen in the middle. They really struggled to make metres in the 2nd half and it kinda was the same last week too. So if you can keep within distance by HT, you can make a game of it with them. It just was the case that all their other wins the game was essentially over by HT.

I saw a massively vulnerable Penrith team out there tonight. Blaze is one of those young attacking weapons who is a D- on defence. They still have the muscle memory of a former champ and can make it a fight and snatch a win but that irrepressible winning machine looks a little busted to me. The chin always wins. I don’t think it’s busted

I think they have too many new pieces to integrate . It’s early in the season. Expect them to go guns blazing by September

I used to look at the Penrith teams of old and just shudder at the depth and talent. I don’t get the same feeling when seeing Lussick and Going on that list. Papalii also after his stint with the Tigers showed us he knows how to plod. That cap of invincibility is gone. It’s Warriors turn
