The real discussion though is in the salary cap era, how can a club get proper dispensation for developing talent?
Got talking with a few Penrith fans in Vegas and it cuts them deep when beloved players have to leave.
In the current setup, we will want that to be us one day, because it means we are producing a calibre of player that exceed what we can pay in the salary cap. But it will hurt to see lads come all the way through and leave because they can't be paid what they are worth.
