I'd be more WTF'd by a stunning performance tonight if I was JD: It'd be a "Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!" performance, I feel.
Another shitty performance would be a "See? It's NOT JUST ME!" part vindication. Of course, it might also vindicate Mr Lazy Defence Fullback....
