that's my frustration with sky commentators. They try to be objective when there is no need to be: no one on the eastern seaboard of Aussie is watching sky. They should be screaming up the wahs from the rooftops!
I know Johnson has said he's there if our halves need him. Also I think he's said he didn't want to get in the way/be around all the time.
It would be great if he could translate his talent into coaching.
Even if it is just as a specialist halves coach. It would be great having someone local and if we want to big on development we'd have someone to help all of the halves coming through. A position we haven't produced a lot of.
it's no secret that all teams play pretty much the same structures, just executed to different ability. So I don't think he's spilling any secrets by talking about our plays in depth on that podcast he seems to co-host.
Especially how we have been making our home games an event. The club likely would have done something around it.
You would hope it is just a coincidence. Mind you Cameron George did have to query them why we aren't included in indigenous round and had to do it ourselves on the next home game.
